OEB is one of my favourite spots. I usually get either the poutine bowl or eggs benedict. I appreciate that they make their GF potatoes separately (and with pesto!) - they’re delicious. I haven’t tried their waffles.. I’m a bit scared about cross contamination for those. But overall, they’re very knowledgeable on celiac and cross contamination so I trust their brunch items overall.
My favourite is the Montreal smoked meat eggs benedict, just make sure they replace the smoked mustard with gluten free mustard.
I also recently tried their short rib poutine bowl but didn’t enjoy it as much. The beef didn’t have very much flavour at all.

The food was just ok. My daughter had the gluten free waffles and bacon, and I had the huevos in’na burrito. My daughter was glutened, and very sick within 30 mins. Even after confirming with the waitress we are both celiac. She said she wrote down “celiac and allergy.” Will not be eating here again.

Great breakfast, a little over priced. BUT tons of GF options. They aren’t all marked on the menu, so make sure you ask. They offer GF breads, sausages, and sides that aren’t shown on the menu. Great for a brunch date. Grab a mimosa and have fun.

The waitress was fairly knowledgeable and if she didn’t know something she made sure to go ask. I forgot to ask if they had a separate gluten free toaster for the toast. But the eggs and potatoes were awesome! I also got the maple pork sausage! They don’t have a dedicated fryer anymore but the waitress said they pan fry the potatoes.

Excellent experience as a person with celiac disease! All their meats are gluten free, they will pan fry potatoes (rather than deep fry) to make them gf, the waffles are gf, and they have gluten free toast and English muffins. They also have dedicated gf grills and equipment to cook everything. The staff were super knowledge about what was safe and it was all around such an excellent experience.

A great experience! The server confirmed the staff are knowledgeable about cross contamination. He confirmed what I could have on the menu: their waffle has its own designated waffle maker and they have oven roasted potatoes that are gluten free (since their regular potatoes have flour) He advised not to do anything fried since it’s shared. But could even create a gluten free pancake. It was an excellent breakfast!

OEB has gluten free specific items, and dishes that can be made GF by subbing for the alternative. This place is great. I always enjoy eating at this chain.

I like the downtown location better - this one is a bit squished for seating when using a mobility device. Again, OEB is excellent at serving those with CD with safe food. I was with 4 celiacs and no issues! The waffles which are GF and served unknown of their status to everyone, are excellent!
