Menu now has a note that says ask about gluten free options. Server immediately knew which menu items they could make gluten free. Most items they can make grilled or blacked. Was also very knowledgeable about what was fried and immediately notified me of what items would be cross contaminated. Had the rock shrimp without the bread crumbs and the Creole Shrimp and Sausage. The cook actually came out after I ordered and informed me that the sauce has flour in it and went through options of what I could have instead. I opted into no sauce at all. Very good and impressed on the gluten free knowledge! Obviously I'm sure each server is different so I would have your sever ask the cook if they are unsure.
No gluten free menu, just a "ask your server about gluten free options" in fine print on the bottom of the regular menu. Well we asked the server and she said "umm I think you can have a salad, maybe pasta?" I asked her to please ask the cook what options I had... she came back and said "you can have a burger with no bun, a slice of chicken, or a salad, that's it though" I asked about crab legs... she proceeded to tell me crabs have gluten... at this point I in no way felt comfortable eating here.
Waitress was very knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free. There is no bread options but several other options that can be made gluten free. Great service and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place.
