TY to those who have shared their experience here! We had just enough time for dinner before catching a flight out of town and tried this based on location near SFMOMA and the reviews. Most items are gf and gf pita that tastes yummy is so appreciated! Had the beef kebab bowl, chicken bowl, and falafel on gf pita and all were delicious. The server was super friendly and noted down our allergies. Great experience!

Separate fryer for GF fried items! Got the Cauliflower and was good. The GF Pita was very good and large portions with the Hummus Bowls, sauces on the table were GF too. Staff were very knowledgeable and happy to help and ensure that kitchen was aware.

Good food - a lot of variety - vegetarian, vegan, meat. Knowledgeable server. They have multiple fryers, including one that is gluten free. Tell your server that you are gluten free so that they will make sure to use the correct fryer.

Great food with the best GF pita I have ever had. We asked the waiter where they get it and he said the import the dough from their factory in Israel. Solid casual dining restaurant.

First time I went here I got gf pita with chicken. It tasted amazing but made me sick (I am celiac). I thought I’d try again for sure thinking it must’ve been the chicken, this time I just got a gf pita sandwich with veggies and hummus in it— STILL sick! Not safe with cross contamination, not worth it.

I specifically stated I had a gluten allergy and asked for no cross-contamination. I have been in bed for days.

ate there twice, somehow I missed the warnings in this app :/
Both times I specified I was celiac. One time was seemingly fine and the other it was pretty obvious I got glutened.
The main difference is I trusted the gluten free pita the second time, although obviously there is no evidence contamination came specifically from there.
Good food, but overpriced, and probably not safe for celiacs
No
I had the chicken skewer, hummus, and "gluten-free" pita. It tasted great, but I was SO SICK. Definitely cross contamination. I cannot recommend, and I will not return.
No
This place was amazing! I’m celiac and have a milk allergy. My food was delicious and I didn’t get sick! Wish I was staying here longer so I could go back for another meal.
Yes
Natan at the counter says that nothing from this kitchen would be celiac friendly. Nice option for non-Celiacs!
No
Tons of gluten-free options on a very clearly labeled menu. Make sure you try the hummus - though I'd recommend sweet potato fries or fried cauliflower for dipping, instead of the gluten-free pita.
Yes
They have gluten free pita! So many gf options.
Mediterranean restaurant with gluten free pita. Much of their menu can be made gluten free. They also have a takeout area attached with most of the same menu and some prepared items/dips.
Best humus, staff and location on the planet! The team knows what’s GF and not and have a dedicated fryer. Order the garlic fries! Order the beets! And for sure order the humus 😊😋

The food was tasty and they seemed to be really good about gluten free food, but I am almost certain I did get glutened. Maybe they gave me a real pita instead of GF pita, I’m not totally sure — it didn’t *taste* like real bread… nevertheless the timing seems to point to getting glutened when I got food from here.

Sunday afternoon stopped in. The GM from the Palo Alto location was there and assured of protocols to avoid cross contamination. Had the gf pita, hummus bowl with grilled chicken, bread pudding. Was delicious and safe! Recommended. Perhaps make sure to talk with a manager, considering previous reviews.

Sadly, I got glutened here!!! The person at the front didn’t know what Celiac was (should have been my first clue). She did tell the person in the kitchen to treat it like a gluten allergy, but I’m not sure how well informed they are. I ate the chicken with rice and sweet potato fries, all labeled gluten free
