I'm not sure why others are saying everything there is gluten free. Most is, but they will make sandwiches with regular bread and I was told one of the sauces had gluten in it by the staff. The baked goods aren't very good and are often pretty dry. I think people patronize them due to so few baked gluten free options around. Also, the staff is pretty unfriendly (one specific older person especially).
Found this place accidentally while visiting the area. Wish I lived closer as I would come here frequently. The food flavor was outstanding! My non-GF daughter loved it also. We got the falafel sandwich and the Caribbean avocado wrap. The chick pea salad and the potato salad were AMAZING! Bought some bread and bakery items but haven’t had them yet. Service was very friendly.
I use to come here all the time for years, then started having a reaction, and one of the worst ones in my life that made me take a year break from the place. Later saw it was verified as being a celiac facilty and have ate there twice in the last month. It was the only thing I ate today and again had one of the worst reactions. I don’t get how they’re verified gluten free when I’ve had reactions over four times from eating here, different years. And I told the cashier I’m celiac.
Everything can be made gluten free sandwich-wise. All sweets are gluten free and sides.
I used to eat here a lot. It has actual food options for us Celiacs. But over the last year, I’ve had terrible service, pretty consistently and have slowly stopped going. Today, I had a huge reaction from eating there. Never had one before, but between the reaction and terrible service. I’m over it.
Amazing! What a delight for those with celiac! Everything from sandwiches to bread was WONDERFUL! Reasonably priced. We got several sandwiches and my picky preteen daughter loved all of them. We stopped on our way to Michigan (My daughter was sad that we didn't stop on the way back). They do offer bread with gluten and this made us a little nervous about cross contamination. I'm not sure why they offer regular bread. We didn't ask. Maybe there is a good reason. But doesn't seem necessary since their GF bread is amazing! But we didn't get sick. We plan to travel to Michigan more often for an excuse to stop here!
Whomever that Pinky character is must either be addled or impossible. They would NEVER pick something off a sandwich. One person out of all reviews had to complain about a non-happening. No complaints here. Nice to be able to eat goodies that don't fall apart. Very good job and very clean
I was told they can do any of their wraps and sandwiches gluten free. I ordered Dave's Ham and Cheese sandwich. Nice thick slices of ham and crisp romaine lettuce.
They have two options on their gluten free bread, multi-grain and sandwich white. The sandwich white was delicious.
Also enjoyed their snickerdoodle cookies and cinnamon swirl bread.
Great food, I come here anytime I Am in town. Heads up, counter people who u order from don't always pay attention. Needed a gf salad but the put taboleh in it that was NOT GF! Of course I didn't realize until I was back to my hotel, 20min away Ruined the salad and almost poisoned me but other than that I have had good experiences.
Had the same experience as most...good food and baked goods, poor service. No restroom for paying customers, and even though they have ovens and stoves, they could not find a way (or the desire) to heat up our apple tart when we asked. Egg sandwich was very tasty, cinnamon roll was divine, and the tart was pretty doughy.
I have grown to love this place since I discovered it a few months after a recent Celiac diagnosis. I stop by often to get their Banana nut and Zucchini bread. All of their items behind the glass in the bakery are GF. My favorite sandwiches are their Southwest Breakfast sandwich and their Philly cheese streak sandwich. I've had the GF Millet and multigrain breads for the sandwiches. The guy who usually works up front is super cool, very friendly, understanding, and helpful. You can call your order in ahead of time and pick it up in their drive through.
Amazing! Most of their bake goods are not crumbly. I ruined my favorite shirt with a browny
Organic Bliss offers delicious, gluten-free fare. I have never gotten sick and have enjoyed sandwiches, cookies, and brownies. I'm not sure about why one reviewer got sick as the staff have always been very knowledgeable for me. That is unfortunate. Regarding the hours of operation comment from another reviewer, I wish you could have enjoyed some more of their delicious food. It seems like you focused on the bathroom availability more than the food. I hope you get a chance to enjoy this place for the food.
AVOID!!! This place terrible service and hard to deal with the workers here! I got a reaction from this place because instead of giving me a fresh new sandwich they just picked off the item on the sandwich I originally had! If this were any other restaurant they would give me a new fresh salad! Avoid at all costs!
Disappointed. We planned on a "fill up" stop on our way to Cedar Point...so we got there about 9am. Needless to say, we were in car three hours, had to use the restroom and the doors of this place are locked until 10am. :( They told us to go down the street to Kroger. We were SOO hungry and looking forward to totally filling our bellies before Cedar Point...they only had three choices for us through the drive through...their "wraps...and they were out of GF wraps. :( I'm sure they have good food, just not available for travelers before doors open.
Yum yum yum!!!! Things I never thought I could have gluten free again!!
Love the food options and baked goods. I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls. Staff is always helpful and courteous, nice dining area inside.
Everything, I mean everything we had was great! I was so excited to walk into a dedicated Gluten-Free bakery and know that everything my eyes saw I could eat. Brownies, carrot cake, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin bread, chocolate chip cookies, bread and pizza crusts were a few of the items we bought today. Did I say I was excited? :) I drove 25 miles to come here and it was well worth the trip.
