I had been wondering about this place for a while and with some conflicting reviews I decided to give it a try. The menu is not marked but a majority of the menu can be made GF. Our waitress asked me if I was intolerant or celiac which is always a good sign. Since I am intolerant and don’t need to worry about cross contact, I was more than comfortable eating here. I did confirm that there is one fryer, so there is the possibility of cross contact but it sounded like there wasn’t anything with gluten fried (but I’m not 100% sure on that). I ordered the Arancini which were so tasty and creamy on the inside. I also ordered the bolognese with GF pasta. Super rich and tasty and the pasta was not over cooked. I would definitely come back! They also have GF pizza and bread available.
Oh my goodness- the best gf pasta I have ever had. Their bread is also fantastic (I would highly recommend the chef’s plate) and their gluten free pizza is sooo good. The service is wonderful too- very friendly and happy to help. Some of their sauces are made with cream and cheese but if you also have a dairy allergy they are happy to accommodate!!
I had a really good experience dining here. The menu was more limited because it was Denver restaurant week, so they had a three course meal and only three options per course. Our waitress asked from the beginning of there were any allergies, and walked me through my options. Of course they were limited on an already very limited menu. With every course they brought they would confirm it was gluten free before setting it down, even with my salad. I got the pizza on gluten free crust, and it was delicious! My friends with me even said it looked better than the regular crust because it was crispier around the edges. When they brought our boxes they even marked mine GF so it wouldn't get mixed up with the others. Limited menu options, but they take good care of you.
Absolutely not safe for someone Celiac. This is one of my favorite restaurants, so I was excited when I saw they were featured in a Westword article about gluten-free options. However, when I called them, the manager said absolutely everything they make is cross-contaminated because they toss their pizza dough in the air, and flour dust goes everywhere. He suggested a plate of cured meats could be safe because they are made off-site, but nothing else is safe for someone with Celiac. I’m very sad that I won’t be able to eat there any more, and appreciated the manager’s honesty.
They have GF bread that's ok. However, their homemade cheese is amazing! I'm definitely going back to get some more of that burrata cheese!
