Not many options, a lot of cross contamination happening as well.

False advertisement. A lot of the menu is listed gluten free. It is not actually. There is cross contamination on the vast majority of the gf options. No separate fryer. The food is good, but you are limited to either a hamburger on gf bun with a side of fruit (there are no other sides gf) or a pizza. Both are good. but either spend a fortune on a double order or expect to eat again at home.
On to the restaurant atmosphere. The wait staff is not rude, but short with you. This restaurant philosophy is designed to make money, and they dont care to be friendly. You better show up with all members of your party when called (5 of the 6 is not enough to be seated. They will skip you until that 6th shows up). There is a sign in the middle of the table telling you to limit the amount of time you spend eating there.
Overall, it could be a great restaurant if they tried. If you have celiacs, you can make do here, but i wouldn’t choose it.

The fryer is cross contaminated and the waitress says she was told the gluten burns off in the fryer. Yikes. I assured her that is not true

Changing my rating. Got glutened here because they did not listen/care. Mixed answers about kitchen protocol. No longer any trust with all of the recent turn over in staff.
I have always done well eating here. I was concerned something changed after reading some recent reviews on here. I called them to confirm yesterday before we went to eat last night. They do have a dedicated fryer and the waitstaff last night was knowledgeable. No issues with dinner last night (I waited until lunch today to be sure.) One of the few places I can get fried pickles and chicken tenders.
No
Many things are marked GF but they share the same fryer as wheat products. We specifically made a trip to go there because of all those options. Was so excited to try "fried" shrimp, loaded french fries and tenders...only to end up with a salad because none of what I wanted was safe. Disappointing.

Ask the questions! Staff is polite and helpful, so they will not be annoyed.
After being able to safely eat here for years, I started getting glutened. Turns out they no longer have a dedicated fryer, but still call items cooked in there gluten free. They think you can cook gluten away.
If it worked that way, we could eat toast, right? 🙄
They do have other GF options, BUT ASK. the GF on the menu is meaningless here.
I love eating here and never having to worry
Yes
Delicious food with lots of GF options! Our waitress was very knowledgable about GF & always offered to double check with the kitchen about our questions. I want to clarify about the fryers: they are not dedicated GF. I had a lettuce-wrapped burger with a Caesar salad - I'm a very sensitive celiac and did not feel sick after!
Yes
After eating gf here for years, it seems that they are no longer safe for those celiac. Several members of our local gf group have been told by multiple staff that there is only one fryer.
We eat here once a month or so, the last time being about 2 weeks ago and our waitress said they use dedicated fryers. Hopefully that is still the case. I haven't had any issues so far. The fried shrimp is my favorite.

Unfortunately after getting sick a number of times I learned they do not keep their fryers dedicated anymore. SO disappointing

Wow... I was so surprised with the amount of GF items here and their menu is very clearly spelled out which is refreshing to see. My husband and I shared loaded potato skins as an app and then shared the fried shrimp platter along with their shrimp and spinach salad. Everything was delicious and I did not get sick at all (not even a little bloating). This will be a regular place for us! UPDATE: Unfortunately my experiences went downhill from my initial experience. I was always getting sick afterwards and was chalking it up to maybe the fact that I wasn't used to eating fried foods since being diagnosed. However more and more people are saying that the fryers are NOT dedicated. They have been told this by the waitresses who have asked the cooks from what I hear. They say when it is busy they mix items. At this point I just haven't been able to figure out what really is going on with them and unfortunately can't trust them with my health right now.

Great place for GFer's, tons of options, flat bread pizza was delicious.
Not Celiac, though severe reaction to Gluten- Since 2011.

NO DEDICATED FRYER! I called before we arrived and was told that anything GF was fried separately. When I double-checked with our waitress, she said they had a double fryer but it was all fried together. NO Cross-Contamination procedures. GF Flatbread is cooked on the same rack as non-GF pizzas. I was told that if I was that sensitive, I should stay away from anything fried (wings, fries, chips, tortilla chips) and flatbreads. We left without eating there. Very disappointed! But I am thankful for our knowledgeable waitress; She kept me from getting sick. I just wish that ALL their staff was as knowledgeable.

Awesome!!! Love this place!!!
Awesome!!!! Shrimp was great! You can get almost anything here. We were in town fora hockey tournament and ate lunch. We want to go back for dinner! They also serve breakfast on the weekends. They have gf French toast! If we lived here, we’d be here often. Service was also great!

So many gluten free options! I shared chicken fingers, cheese fries, and a philly cheese steak sandwich. All gluten free! The sandwich fell apart while eating, but it was still amazing. I'm looking forward to going back and trying one of their many other gluten free options ( sandwiches, flatbreads, wings!)
Awesome place for people with celiac. My waitress had celiac and she was very helpful on telling me what was good.

Well above your standard "bar food". Gluten free sandwiches, pizza and beer. Our go to restaurant. If you've never tried a gluten free Reuben, this is the place!
excellent food, you can get fish battered in GF beer
OTF provides a WIDE variety of delicious gf options!
Called the establishment and they told me they fry the wings in the same fryer that all the gluten related items are fried in. I told the girl on the phone that they should not advertise gluten free wings if they are not gluten free.
Was told that the fries are prepared in a separate fryer, so I ordered them and no issues thus far. I had the caprese sandwich on Udi's bread. Can't remember the last time I could order something like that. The menu is clearly marked with GF symbols and the wait staff was very knowledgable. To mention, I am also a vegetarian, and even then I had many options to choose from. Even the omnivores in my party loved their meal. Ommission lager and a cider are available.

This is a wonderful local restaurant with a laid back vibe. Great for kids. They do have Udi's bread as an option for sandwich bread for $1.50 upcharge. Items on the menu that they consider gluten free have a GF beside them HOWEVER when I asked I found that they do NOT use a dedicated fryer. They also marked items with blue cheese in them as GL. I subbed broccoli for the fries and was not told it would be a $3 charge. Other than that, I was very happy with the food. Good food, just be careful when ordering.

A million gluten free options and a knowledgable staff. Have eaten here safely many times with my celiac daughter and celiac self. Soooo good. We go about once a week.

Has great gluten free options! And actually options, not just a few entrees they can make gluten free. That includes the French fries as well. Highly recommend it to anyone gluten free or not!

We have eaten here 3 times now and it's has been amazing every time! I had a salad the first time, which was the best salad I have had In the Raleigh area. Later that night we ordered wings to go. While on the phone ordering the owner assured us that all of the wing sauces were safe along with the fries! When we went to pick the order up the owner brought us the food and talked to us about how they started doing gluten free due to having friends that were really allergic! He asked that if I ever have any type of reaction, to let him know and he will make sure the issue is addressed immediately! I feel safe eating at Over the Falls and greatly appreciate the degree of concern that they have for people with a gluten allergy!

Our neighbor recommended recently. Nice menu with lots of choices. Mostly sandwiches, burgers/chicken, salads and such. Lots of wings and all the sauce options are GF. And they have gluten free bread as an option. Fries are in dedicated fryer. Not top notch but a nice restaurant with some new options. We really only have 4-5 nearby restaurants that we trust. This will be one of them. Waiter was ok but didn't really seem to like his job. Maybe he was having a bad day. Will def go back
