It was nice to be able to order ANYTHING off of the menu and not have to worry about possible cross-contamination. EVERYTHING is delicious. We tried several different dishes.

Delicious! In contrast to the previous review I was assured everything is GF (except the beer menu). Ordered loads of different dishes including the elk tacos, some bison, and too many other tasty things to remember. Didn’t get sick. Overall really interesting, thoughtful, safe food.

Not 100% gluten free currently. I was informed by a server that the bison asada is soaked in beer. I did not get the bison asada taco, but got other amazing GF foods!

So, so delicious! I wanted to taste everything. Decolonized approach to food, so no dairy, wheat flour, cane sugar, beef, chicken, or pork. I didn't miss any of it! Especially nice to not have to worry about gluten and to be able to share food with my non-celiac family members.

One of the top restaurants I have been anywhere in the world, and it works perfectly with my food constraints!!! The menu changes with the seasons, and the food/drinks support BIPOC sources. It’s especially nice when you want a gluten free dessert treat—so delicious! Love, love, love!

The food and drinks here are AMAZING! Every single thing here was gluten and dairy free AND delicious. Will be going again.

Amazing food, atmosphere and friendly staff. It is difficult to get a reservation but the bar and patio (seasonal) is open seating. Wheat flour, cane sugar, beef, chicken & pork are not in the menu as they are not native to North America. We had the smoke trout & white bean spread with traditional corn tortillas, bison taco (a little spicy but rich spicy not burn your mouth & cover favor) and mushroom taco along with the bison bowl and dessert. All of it was excellent and fresh!

I heard about this chef 4 years ago and missed a community dinner he put on. The food today was better than anything I could have imagined. Simple food with such complex and wonderful taste. I can’t wait to go back.

My favorite restaurant of all time hands down. Everything is gluten free.

The entire restaurant is gluten free and the menu is incredible. Had maple crickets, blue corn mush with candied hazelnuts, bison pot roast with roast vegetables, antelope tacos, and xocoatl (chocolate cake) with aronia berry sorbet, wild rice wafer and agave caramel sauce. Everything was amazing. All the employees were masked and guests were required to wear masks when not eating and drinking.

Since their entire concept is indigenous and decolonized foods, that means no dairy, no refined sugar, and NO WHEAT!!! I could try anything I wanted, and everything I did try was great! Well, the berry parfait was not a texture I hugely enjoy (full berries, and grainy nut-“milk”). But we got the game sausage with dandelion pesto, grilled cornbread with berry jam, pulled turkey open-faced sandwich with squash slaw, and the awesome bison potroast with root vegetables! And my husband loved his chocolate cake from wild rice flour with agave caramel. They do have a beer and wine license (examples from Mexico were good), but there are tons of mocktails and herbal teas, as well. We even tried the crickets with mustard seeds and pepitos, which tested my resolve but turned out to be just crunchy. Gorgeous view of Mill Rions Park and the Mississippi. We had so much fun, we’re telling everyone we know, and I can’t wait to go back!
