Tried this place with some coworkers while on a work trip and everyone loved it! The vegan paella was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in town

Gf items are labeled as gf on the menu. I did mentio just in case that all items would be gf. We’ve been there a couple times already. So tasty! My toddler loved it! We had the Ceasar with Jerked chicken, 2 different types of paellas, fried bananas and the appetizer ceviche. My husband had no issues afterwards.

I visited Oyo with a friend yesterday and it was SO GOOD I returned today for lunch with my husband! Oyo has a friendly, unique and colorful vibe. There are 3 four-top tables with a 2-cafe seats outside. Many more tables inside. We had the individual paella and it is fabulous: saffron rice, grilled thin strips of red bell pepper, corn on the cob, peas, and sausage, chicken and shrimp prepared fresh and served to the table hot. Beautifully seasoned. The grilled plantains are not to be missed. One order serves two people. The fresh lemonade is superb; just right - not too tart and definitely not too sweet. There is blues music playing and the people are so friendly and great to work with. I'm GF and they had plenty of fantastic options marked on the menu. It's my new favorite place in Pleasanton! I plan to return to try other GF options but hey it's going to be hard to n

For the most part, my experience here was wonderful! The food was quite excellent, especially the pumpkin soup and the recommended tapas from the waiter (the street food doubles - they look interesting on the menu but they're outstanding). Much of their menu is gluten free and more of it can be made gluten free if requested. The staff was knowledgeable when I called. However, when we initially ordered the street food doubles, they came with a bready base that I called over a waiter to confirm whether it was gluten free or not, and it wasn't. My table was ordering some gluten items, and it must have gotten confused as to whether that was supposed to be gluten free or not. It was readily replaced with the gluten free variety (which comes on a thin, crispy base, NOT a soft one), but no one had caught the mistake in the kitchen or on the way.

Safe and delicious food. We are here in person before SIP and chef is knowledgeable. Most of the menu is gluten free to begin with. Celiac family member loved the paella and was safe.
