I visited Oyo with a friend yesterday and it was SO GOOD I returned today for lunch with my husband! Oyo has a friendly, unique and colorful vibe. There are 3 four-top tables with a 2-cafe seats outside. Many more tables inside. We had the individual paella and it is fabulous: saffron rice, grilled thin strips of red bell pepper, corn on the cob, peas, and sausage, chicken and shrimp prepared fresh and served to the table hot. Beautifully seasoned. The grilled plantains are not to be missed. One order serves two people. The fresh lemonade is superb; just right - not too tart and definitely not too sweet. There is blues music playing and the people are so friendly and great to work with. I'm GF and they had plenty of fantastic options marked on the menu. It's my new favorite place in Pleasanton!
