I asked about the vinegar they use on the sushi rice. It is a malt vinegar, so none of the sushi is safe. There was only one dish they thought they could adapt to be truly gluten free, but I opted to leave. They were friendly and the server was very nice about checking with the chef, so if you don't have celiac I think this place is quite nice. Sadly, not for me.

This restaurant has excellent high quality sushi. The server was very knowledgeable about items that could be prepared gluten free and brought me a bottle of clearly labeled gluten free tamari for dipping sauce.
