I have celiac disease and they are very cautious. they change their gloves and have a separate prep sections. I love papa Murphy's and would definitely eat here again. I love how you can CYI with mostly all the toppings which usually isn't available at other restaurants. I have never gotten sick here and would definitely eat here again.
Yes
great if you are just choosing to avoid gluten. not good if you are Celiac as there is criss contamination on the topping and sauce.

I got the gluten free crust and it was quite tasty. My family enjoyed their gluten-y pizzas as well. The gluten free crust was prepared in the same area but in its own tray and the worker prepared it first with a new set of gloves. I am sure there’s a risk for CC, but I’ve had no belly issues.

I ordered a gf cheese pizza for myself and a regular cheese for the rest of my family. I called ahead to ask about cross contact and if the shredded cheese was gf. They confirmed the process and cheese was safe/gf. It’s nice because you bake at home and the pizzas come on their own trays that can go directly into the oven.
The pizzas were delivered wrapped together and my heart sank but they were individually wrapped as well.

I was so excited tosee they have a gluten free crust. The crust is wrapped separately. I thought they understood protocol at first as both people making pizza changed gloves and washed hands before touching anything. That went downhill when one of them used the same spatula to spread the sauce that has been used on other pizza. When we explained that was cross contamination and he needed to start again with a clean one he seemed annoyed but did go to the back for a new one. So just be very vocal about the precautions they need to take. But, the pizza was good, other than the not crispy middle as it's with all gf pizza. I was not sick and have plenty of leftovers.

I’ve been missing Papa Murphy’s pizza since my diagnosis and finally decided to give them a try after hearing positive things. Every time that I’ve called or gone in, the employees are knowledgeable about what Celiac is and how to properly prepare a GF pizza to prevent CC (new gloves, separate prep space, open new ingredient packages) The GF crust is good and I’m happy to have another safe option for pizza night. The GF crust only comes in medium size and is more expensive than regular of course
