They changed their gloves, used a separate prep space, and used toppings/ingredients from separate bins in am effort to minimize pote vital cross-contamination. As previous poster mentioned, the GF pizza only comes in a medium and is on the pricier side....but it sure does taste delicious esp when you're craving pizza 😊
I verified if they offered gluten free crusts and they said they used Udi’s crusts. They were sure to specify that it is not a dedicated kitchen which we probably all know, so eat at your own risk. That being said, I didn’t get sick. Yay!
I have eaten here a few times before and feel confident ordering from them. The staff was familiar with gluten issues and made my pizza in the back with ingredient away from the main line. We also overheard on of the employees telling another that he couldn’t handle our pizza because he hadn’t changed his gloves. As always, I recommend telling them that you have celiac disease/wheat allergy when ordering.
Gluten free crust, will use clean utensils. I am celiac and had no problems.
Had previously given them 5 stars for getting not getting glutened and being very careful with prep. Tried today to get gf and explained the need for separate utensils, and watched them immediately use the same ladle for sauce. Went to look up what meats were safe, and discovered the allergy guide on their website changed so no idea what meats are safe anymore. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Can't risk getting sick so into the garbage it goes...
I grew up with Papa Murphy’s pizza so I love that they now carry Udi’s gluten free crusts for their take ‘n bake pizzas. Gluten free requires a little more lead time as the crusts are frozen, and just like any other walk-down-the-line-of-ingredients place (ex. Chipotle) there’s no guarantee that it’s 100% gluten free. But I’m a very sensitive celiac and had no reaction from this particular location! The staff were also super nice and worked with me to make their garlic cheesy bread gluten free too using the same pizza crust!
This is not a good gluten free option, they do have gluten free pizza crust but they prepare it on the same surface as the other pizzas that is covered in flour. They also cross contaminate with the ingredients.
This PM is amazing. They always do a great job for us. They wipe the surface first and make it in the back using fresh sauce, cheese and toppings - they are also very kind about it and don’t give any attitude or seem annoyed. Have never been glutened.
Ten staff here knows we are gluten free and take extra precautions. Because you cook the pizza at home, there is a lowered risk of cross contamination during the process.
My wife has celiac and we went to get a gluten free pizza. When we asked the people who work there if there was a potential for cross contamination, he said “Oh yeah”. They use the same utensils on gluten and gluten free pizzas.
I have been eating their gluten free pizza for a couple of years now and it is by far my favorite! Can barely eat Udis now. Domino's is the only thing that comes close but it's about $5 more by the time you're done with the charges and this is much bigger! My teenage boys enjoy it too.
Most Papa Murphys locations are very good when ordering gluten free, this location is the exception! They did not change their gloves, the pizza was made on the same line as the other pizzas and the employees didn’t follow the order, gluten containing items were added to the pizza even though I asked them to omit those items!
I had the gluten free pizza from papa Murphy's and it was actually really good. The staff knew what it meant when I told them I had Celiac and couldn't have any cross contamination and they changed their gloves and even grabbed the toppings from new containers in the fridge. They were very friendly and courteous and even offered some gluten free cheesey bread for half the price! I was very satisfied and did not get sick at all, which is fantastic because I have gotten sick from pizza places in the past. Also, for some reason it only shows this location but I went to the one at 21st and Webb.
I have celiac disease and they are very cautious. they change their gloves and have a separate prep sections. I love papa Murphy's and would definitely eat here again. I love how you can CYI with mostly all the toppings which usually isn't available at other restaurants. I have never gotten sick here and would definitely eat here again.
This is my favorite crust besides the one crust I make at home. But this is much faster. I like the tomato sauce. The creamy garlic is listed as may contain gluten or shared facility, something like that. So we never tried it. They have a garlic oil but it makes the pizza too oily with pepperoni. You need to check the allergen list on their website and it can be hard to find. They have unexpected items as may contain gluten or shared facility such as the ham/canadian bacon.
Fabulous GF pizza. Love the gourmet choices and the classics! They are very knowledgeable
they use Udi's crusts, but they're bigger than the ones available at the store. this commercial size crust is perfect (and a bit filling) for two people. I love their pizzas so much, even though I always use Udi's to make them at home, and usually prefer mine to restaurants. I always get extra pepperoni, and call ahead so that it's ready when I arrive.

Yummy pizza for a quick and easy dinner on nights we are running late or just plain old tired ;) stress the importance of the allergy and they do their best. Not always 100% but the majority of the time they are pretty good!
This is a great way to eat restaurant pizza because you cook it at home with no cross-contamination. I ask them to change their gloves and prepare it in the back with new ingredients. I have never felt sick and it tastes delicious!
