Ordered 3 gluten free pizzas for carry out after assurances from the kitchen manager that they understood celiac and cross contamination. All 3 pizzas tested positive for gluten using my Nima sensor. Unfortunately my youngest didn’t wait for the Nima test to finish for his pizza and is now sick as a dog after eating a piece. Avoid this place if you have celiac!

Pizza was good - cooked on cardboard and in separate area. Seemed knowledgeable. Nothing else on menu is GF.

Amazing gluten free pizza! My pizza was thin and crispy and cut into squares just how I like it!

My fiance ordered the GF chicken strips and they were delicious. They nailed the breading. I tried a few and could not taste that they were GF. Highly recommend.

Asked the waitress just to clarify some things about their process. She said they use completely different utensils to cut the pizza, and they are super careful, because the owner has really bad food allergies and understands the risk of cross-contamination.
Service was fantastic, they realized they messed up one of our pizzas, and they put another one in the oven, when they realized their mistake, and brought out the mistake, and gave us the correct one too. They fixed their problem without being asked, even when it was pretty busy.
Loved the experience and atmosphere, wish I lived closer so I could return more frequently.

Ended up being our go to place! Great gf pizza, friendly and knowledgeable staff!
We went to the one in Osage Beach, MO and it was amazing! Our daughter has Celiac and we got the Gluten free pizza for her. It came out on a metal pizza plate with a cardboard liner. It tasted great and there were no issues with cross contamination. She didn't get sick and the pizza was amazing! The restaurant was super busy so next time I think we will get it delivered!

The GF pizza came out on a separate cardboard platter, probably to avoid cross contamination. The crust was good. The person who previously reviewed about the meatballs.... Apparently they are made with bread crumbs and NOT GF. :(
Every time I come here it’s a must eat! Great gluten pizza and no issues
Yes
Great atmosphere! We got the meatball appetizer and they were amazing.. I would definitely recommend it. I also had a gluten free pizza and the crust was fantastic!
Yes
Good pizza, crust is a little bland definitely have had better gluten free crusts. The typing make up with it. They also have salads. This place can be really sad if you go with friends and they order a Pizzookie, a giant chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream. I filled up on salad and are my whole pizza it was so good, so it didn't bother me too much. 😁
best gf crust ever ... had no issues

Great experience. Great food. Knowledgeable staff.
Yes
While their only GF item is a pizza crust, it is probably the best GF crust I've had! Staff was friendly and accommodating, and understood how to be careful with GF requests in the kitchen. I'll definitely be back!

Gluten free crust comesin medium size only. It is a thin, crispy crust. I was told all toppings are gluten free except the meatballs. No issues after eating here...had the chicken, bacon, cheddar of gf crust. Update: Another experience with their pizza with no issues. Only toppings to avoid are the white sauce and meatballs. I love the pizza but wish I knew if their salads and wings are also gluten free. I loved both before diagnosis but our server did not know if they are gluten free or not.

Love Poppo's!!! My favorite place to eat at the lake. They have cider on tap and gluten free crust. Their salads are also amazing and the service is always great. They tend to be busy but it is worth it.
Yes
Gluten friendly, the pizza was a thin crust. I thought it was very good and the rest of my family enjoyed their non GF pizza as well.
Yes
We went excited about the reviews here. No gluten free menu only a gluten free crust. Our server said they do not have a list of ingredients gluten free and advised me not to eat there since I have celiac! Very disappointed

Super friendly staff, almost all of the medium sized pizzas can be made gf, or make your own. We tried the mexicana (my favorite- the jalapenos are hot), steak house, and mozzarella with chicken and herbs. All were wonderful, cant wait to come back to try more!!
Yes
Loved the pizza. Got pepperoni and onion. My husband and I will be going since my coworkers got it the first time. So excited for good GF pizza!

Very helpful information from everyone- just say you're gluten free and you'll get the rundown of what is and isn't gluten free.(White sauce and meatballs are not by the way). Gluten free crust only comes as a ten inch which is how it usually goes for me. The crust was crunchy and came with fresh cheese. Loved the oven baked wings that came without breading.

Great food and server was very knowledgeable and made sure the kitchen would use new utensils without us prompting. Will definitely be back.
First time I went, I got a "The kitchen sink" with gluten-free crust pizza. The toppings were wonderful, the sauce was tasteless, the crust was typical gluten-free: gummy and not crisp at all. And EXPENSIVE! ($18)
Went a second time and got some bbq wings and a gluten-free mexican pizza. The bbq wings were breaded before being dipped in sauce. (I was not warned of that, and the menu didnt state, so be cautious.) The pizza was MUCH better this time around. The crust was crispy except for one place in the middle (no biggy... Was thrilled most was cooked), and the toppings and and sauce (salsa this time) were amazing. Still expensive ($16), but definitely more worth it this time. I also have a dairy allergy, and the waitress has written very largely on the ticket that I could have no dairy and to make sure none was put on my pizza. I was impressed.
Pappo's won't be a regular stop for me because of price, but it's definitely on one of the places I'll keep in mind for the future.

They have an amazing gluten free pizza!

They have a gluten free 10" crust on the menu. Staff was very accommodating and listened to our issues. Manager came out and said he will clean the pizza cutter and make every effort to eliminate any cross contamination during preparation. We ordered a cheese pizza on gluten free crust for our daughter. Manager brought the pizza out to show us the special tin he was cooking the pizza in and had freshly shaved gluten free cheese on top of sauce and gluten free crust. My daughter who is 5 gave a 2 thumbs up on the taste and did not get sick! Will definitely eat here again. The regular pizza was EXCELLENT too.
