No gluten-free menu and items are NOT marked on menu. You will have to ask your harried server who likely has little knowledge or interest in gluten-free safety. When I’m in this situation, I’ve found that peel and eat shrimp are usually a safe choice if the servers can confirm the cooking recipe. I do not recommend this establishment for celiacs not willing to ask questions and make their own safety determination.

Hostess not very knowledgeable on gluten free options. Wait staff tried to be accommodating, but seemed to get annoyed by the questions.
Bottom line, I am not sure my meal was gluten free, the intestinal issues later on would suggest it was not.
No gf menu. Neither the server or the manager had any knowledge of gluten free options. We ended up leaving.
When I entered I asked about a hluten free menu. The host nodded, handed us 2 menus and walked away. The menu had no gluten free items marked, so I had to sit until our server came. The server assured me he would take care of me. My conch stew came with crackers on the side, which I returned them my muscles came with the bread sticks I asked to be left off. That plate was taken away, however the server came back "very quickly" with what he assured me was one that had just come off tge line. Then the server asked if we wanted dessert when I asked if they had gluten free options his reply was "yeah this really isn't the place for you." I haven't had any reaction, but if you are a sensitive celiac I would pass and go to Doc Fords just down the road. My husband who had the fried seaman's platter wasn't impressed either.

Very poor selections for gluten free .. ordered salad with nothing.. nothing .. nothing .. nothing. Great got to join in on the family lunch but lunch for me stunk Go elsewhere where they care if you get sick or not
CELIACS BEWARE! I had come to this restaurant a few years ago and they used to have gf labels on their menu. Since then they have removed the labels. When I asked the waitress about gf options she didn’t seem to know what I meant so I asked for the manager. Instead the waitress was sent back and was only able to tell me the fish and salads were gluten free. Being that I don’t eat fish I asked her about the steak option and she said she didn’t know. She came back to tell me the potatoes were not gluten free so I asked what I could substitute and again she did not know, I asked a second time for the manager. I watched the waitress go over to her and the manager instead of coming over to me started rolling silverware. So I decided to order a side garden salad and asked that they please make the kitchen staff aware of he gluten allergy.... and when my salad came out it had crotons on it!!!! I sent the salad back and said not to bring my anything as I didn’t trust they would just pull off the croutons and bring the salad back. Oh and the manager never even came over to apologize. I will never come back

Parrot Key has been a favorite restaurant for years. The dinner menu has a much better gluten free selection than the lunch menu. The food was delicious as always!
Lunch menu has few selections. Dinner menus has more choices. We were told we could not have the rice side which was a part of the standard meal, but it came on our plate. Then we were told it was gluten free. Not fully confident they understand the real meaning of gluten free.
Menu was marked with gluten free items. Very good food. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Knowledgable staff.
Impressive for those Gluten Free or needing accommodations for food allergies. Staff was very knowledgeable and understanding. Menu has GF next to safe items and items were prepared in separate area. We have many allergies and were still able to have a delicious dinner! Thank you Parrot Key!! ♥
