Pei Wei

Eat here frequently and haven’t been sick! It makes me nervous because the shrimp come breaded but I’ve asked about this multiple times and they said they use potato flour. It’s delicious and I eat here pretty frequently and haven’t been sick (the customer service is lacking though)

Very nice manager! They now have more than just 2 gf options. I had the Mongolian rice bowl with beef... so yummy!

My husband and I were going to this location for a while and the staff were super kind and helpful. Even the guys who cook waved when we came in because they knew us :) They always made my fried rice with gluten free soy sauce but when we went one day, the girl at the counter said they couldn’t anymore because the manager said “No” I asked to speak to the manager and she came right out and said they can make me rice and give me a packet of gluten free soy sauce to stir it in myself due to “corporate not wanting them to waste time opening each small packet for customers with special requests while it’s busy and risk backing up the other customers orders” When she said this I looked around and we were the only ones in line and about 5 others who were in the restaurant eating already. She said they can “do me a favor this one time” but no longer. I guess so much for customer service. Sad because the actual staff was great and the food always great, but this nasty manager ruined it. By the way, every other Pei Wei in Jacksonville has never had a problem making me fried rice with gluten free soy sauce and has always taken the extra time to open the little packets no matter how many other people there were :) Continuing to love Pei Wei....just NOT this location due to the nasty manager

It would be awesome to have GF Asian besides PFC, but this experience will likely be my last with Pei Wei... It was not busy, and the chef definitely heard that I have an allergy to gluten, please change gloves, separate cookware, etc... The chef (petite short dark haired female) waved off the allergy request like she got it, and I should know better when it appears to be blown off... I ordered A GF sweet and sour chicken with rice noodles and Vietnamese chicken lettuce rolls with sauce... I was told both were gluten free. I ate two spring rolls with sauce and had one bite of the GF sweet and sour chicken which seemed to be crispy like it had a coating... while I am not certain which dish it was, one or both of them were NOT celiac friendly gluten free.

Coming in at 8 at night we were a little worried but the chefs made sure our meals were GF. Their options are small compared to the full menu but still offers decent GF Asian options.

GF sweet and sour kid's chicken meal was tasty. My daughters approved and want to return. Menu is very GF limited and I was crazy about the GF Asian chicken salad...very bland.

We ordered one kids meal gluten free and another regular. When we got home both looked the same and nothing was labeled. When we called restaurant no one could tell us definitively which was gluten free. They really should have a label!

They were out of Vietnamese Rolls, which is what I come here for. I tried the Asian chicken salad, but it was bland: iceberg lettuce, three little shreds of chicken and a few thin strips of red pepper. Not worth 8 dollars. I took one bite and took it back. They were nice about refunding my money, though.

I have never gotten sick from eating there. and I am super - sensative.

Eat there all the time and love it. I never get contaminated.

I'm gluten sensitive, husband is celiac. We both ordered gluten free and both got sick. Won't be going back.

Not a fan- didn’t look like woks were being switched in-between dishes. Not sure how or why some things are GF and others are not when ingreds are similar- made no sense - too saucy!

I have eaten at this Pei Wei location at least 6 times and have had no reactions to their gluten free meals. I am highly sensitive to cross-contact. The menu is clearly marked and the manager was able to answer all of my questions.
