Ordered a gf brownie and a gf cranberry muffin to split, and had the Honduras pour over with cream and sugar and unfortunately got a bit sick afterwards. Don’t know from what exactly, could’ve been gluten cross contamination or something else. Too bad because everything was very good.

— Excellent

The staff seemed fairly knowledgeable about gluten issues. They acknowledged the chance of cross contamination, and affirmed that all of the sandwich material was gluten free. I had the avocado toast on gluten free bread. While it tasted just okay, it did not cause any allergic reactions.

Pettibone has gluten free pastries/desserts as well as gluten free options for lunch and breakfast. The pastries are kept in a separate case from the other pastries/desserts. I've spoken with leadership about cross contamination multiple times and they are very knowledgeable. They understand Celiac Disease and clean countertops and use separate utensils, aluminum foil, etc. when preparing a gluten free order. If you become regular, they know to mark it as an allergy before you even order.
