Without a doubt the best Gluten-free Italian food I have found in a restaurant.
They really cater to GF, a little pricey but worth it to have so many great options.
really a fantastic place. unbelievable assortment of gluten free items - all delicious!
Ate lunch there yesterday. The server recommended a new GF salad with fig balsamic dressing and it was wonderful! The service was excellent.
Large gluten free menu. The breadsticks and warm chocolate chip cookie are excellent.
Great selections - entire menu is gf!!! So awesome to go out and know that my daughter can safely order anything on the menu - desserts included! We had pasta, salads, chicken strips, cheese bread, meatballs, brownies, and a cookie. It was all delicious!!
i’ve been to several picazzo’s locations and this one is definitely a brand new baby— they’ve got some growing to do, but a lot of potential and some great staff. we’ve visited 3 times so far and had some problems with our orders each time, but we have NEVER been glutened. (i’ve never been glutened at any Picazzo’s and i consider this chain the safest restaurant for celiacs out of all places that also serve gluten.) however: we’ve been served chicken flesh instead of vegan chicken. we’ve received nonvegan bread despite stressing we are gf and vegan. we’ve gotten cheese when requesting no cheese. (the waitstaff has been great— i see their notes. it’s the people making the food that need to be more careful.) everything is fixed quickly, but that chicken incident grossed me out. the server stressed that it’s unacceptable to have these errors because they do specialize in special diets— so they get the importance of this. but the fact that mistakes happened on 3 visits now is a bit of a bummer. however, again, i have NEVER been glutened— not even when eating with someone who was incapable of avoiding gluten for even one meal, so even with mixed orders, they do well. i absolutely will keep going back to this location as long as they continue to approve while continuing to not gluten me.
Amazing Gluten free food and dairy free also and I believe the other major allergies. The pizza is incredible and this last time I had chicken parmigiana that was both gluten and dairy free and it was wonderful. Every time I go, I have to have their exceptional NY style cheezecake, which you would never know is gluten and dairy free. In fact other people I was with couldn't believe it wasn't! Everyone was happy with their meals, although this last time there was a problem with the Chicken Picasa but the wonderful staff took care of everything. They are always very friendly and eager to help and all seem to be very knowledgeable. This is by far, my favorite Gluten free restaurant... and not just in Arizona. Go and enjoy, you won't regret it.
We took our daughter to eat here and I will never forget her response. She is 8 years old and when the waitress told her everything on the menu except 2 items is gluten free, my poor girl burst into tears. She has never been able to order whatever she wanted off a menu. She’s never been handed a kids menu and actually gotten to pick from every item on it. The food was delicious and our family will return here often!
AMAZING!!!!! We were in Phoenix for 2 1/2 days and we ate here twice because it was so good. They do offer non-gf pizzas, but other than that, the entire menu is gluten free. And they are very accommodating for dairy allergies as well. The Bigoli pasta was cooked perfectly. Best pasta I've had. The desserts were great and could easily be dairy free as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I was so excited to read that Picazzo's opened up a new location. It is so amazing to go out to eat knowing that we won't get sick from accidentally eating gluten or getting cross-contaminated food all while eating delicious food. My son even forgot that nearly all of the food is gf and when my celiac daughter asked for a bite of his mac and cheese he said no at first because he didn't remember it was gf. Now that's a great compliment! We live in Colorado, but will definitely be dining at the Glendale location whenever we are in town visiting family. Thanks, Picazzo's.
Great kid meals, wonderful pizza, heaven for celiacs.
We really enjoyed our dinner. I had had the gluten-free pizza. The crust was good, but a bit fluffy and the cauliflower Alfredo was excellent. Apple walnut salad-was good. We ordered the focaccia, I would not call it for focaccia, but just sliced bread it had no herbs and not flat like focaccia. I would come back though.
Thought I found my GF Italian restaurant, but no. We ordered GF pizza and GF pasta, both of which were not very good. Typical GF tastes. Wish it were better.
Delicious!! Had the slice of the week (chicken, cranberries, rosemary, basil, fresh motzerrala) and Caesar salad combo and it was fabulous. We will have to come back for the tiramisu later. We had it a few years ago when we were in town and it was so yummy!
Amazing GF food. Almost everything is GF. A few years back they had both GF pasta and regular. They got so good at GF that they just do all GF now. The folks that don’t need to eat GF are just as satisfied(they can’t tell). We travel all over the country and this is by far our favorite place for GF variety and taste!! The Scottsdale and Sedona one’s are also good. We eat here two or three times a year when we are in AZ, probably 30 times over the years, and have never been disappointed.
Chicken Parmesan was very very good. Staff knowledgeable of gf options. Give it a try.
We have eaten here many times and my daughter who has celiac disease has never gotten sick. Great food, lots of choices, and knowledgeable staff. This is our go to place!
I enjoyed their delicious gluten free chicken parmesan...with their house made gluten free foccacia bread! I ordered wine but noticed gluten free beer on the menu. My friends & I shared a yummy gluten free brownie which was served in a small cast iron skillet with a small side of ice cream...enough for 3 of us. I love having so many choices @ Picazzo's and can't wait for their new location to open, which will be closer to me, at 83rd Ave & Union Hills.
Love this restaurant! They are super conscious about dietary needs from gluten free to dairy free. They go above and beyond and always ask if you want gluten free options. Amazing, fresh food and awesome desserts too!
It's so nice to have a place where you don't have to worry.
I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they had so many options like pizza, pasta, and more. They also had an amazing brownie and coconut ice cream that was delicious! Great place but unfortunately they told us the one in Flagstaff is closing in 2 weeks.
ALL the items are GF with an extensive Italian menu. The only option for not GF is the pizza, which you can order GF as well. The bread basket is GF, the croutons, all the pastas... pretty rare opportunity for someone with Celiac. They even offer two type of GF beer. It's. It the best food in the world but I'm not going to complain when I see my son's face light up at the possibility of having bread before entrees and ordering chicken parm! A MUST go to restaurant if in Flagstaff.
We visited here 3 times on our recent trip to Scottsdale. Awesome for my daughter to be able to eat off the menu and feel safe! Wonderful servers too!
