While many items say gluten free, both the servers and kitchen staff were not 100% confident in preparation or avoiding cross contamination. Many items are labeled GF, but a few items labeled gluten free, such as the dirty dirty fries, are also prepped in a regular fryer with other items. Makes it hard to be confident in the overall restaurant and hard to trust the menu. Kitchen staff can work with you on a few things but still be cautious and vocal about any restrictions.

Many items on the menu are gluten free and they are marked as such. The food was delicious and views of the beach were great!

Had a great experience as a fellow celiac. My wife and I (both celiacs) got the roasted chicken, squash, olives, fries, and Brussels. We made it very clear we were GF and DF. Chef was able to accommodate. They said they “can make it GF”. So make sure to tell them you are GF. They understand the allergy. Would eat here again.

NOT GF!!!!! Would leave a zero star if I could. This place is obviously only making things gluten free to make money. I have celiacs and just got glutened with a meal marked on the menu gluten free. Not sure if I have ever been madder at a restaurant. Don’t be tricked by the fake gf

Staff wasn't engaging or seemingly concerned with cross contamination. Ended up eating a salad to avoid cross contamination. Menu lacking gf options where I felt comfortable not having cross contamination.
Why didn't I check this app earlier tonight? There's tons of stuff labeled GF on the menu, and the staff was very reassuring on celiac questions. I usually only eat at home and dedicated GF restaurants, but I was hungry on vacation! Now my belly is so sick. Avoid the temptation! 😭😭😭

I had eaten here about 5 or 6 yrs ago and had a great experience, so I was eager to visit again on 12/14/18. When I took a look at the menu I was very disappointed as it seems like they only offer a quarter gf items compared to the amount they used to have. I let our waitress know that I would be ordering gf for health reasons. In passing I mentioned that I wished there were more crab options, but the waitress didn't have any comment. I asked her if the Fisherman's Stew was hot spicy or Italian type spicy and she said hot. I let her know that I cannot do that, so I ordered the Thi Sweet Potato Soup instead. There were only about 4 other tables there and it took a good 45 minutes to get our food for 2 people. The first bite I took of the soup was very spicy. I debated whether or not to send it back, and did since I didn't want to end up with an upset stomach. When I asked the waitress why she didn't tell me that the soup was quite spicy, she didn't have anything to say, but added that if I wanted I could add crab to any order - why didn't she tell me that when Iordered the first time?!. I then ordered the Warm Brussels Sprout Salad. It tasted really good, but I began getting very sick less than an hour after I'd eaten, so IDK what exactly was in that, even though the menu says it's gf. I will not be going back here again.
I was eager to try the gf fish and chips. I tested it with my Nina and it tested positive for gluten. Chef made me pan seared halibut which tested safe, but was plain and more expensive. :-( Not safe if you can’t test.

Went in get dinner, not much gf on the menu that could not potential have cross contamination. I asked about the fish and chips and it’s all fried in the same fryer 😔 3 stars is for yummy cider, friendly staff and a great view

Great food! We had brunch here and had the mushroom hash and the smoked salmon hash. Both delicious. The view was also incredible. The coffee was phenomenal. Friendly staff. Will be back again to try dinner and some wine!
They do not serve meals all day. By 2PM all they serve is happy hour food. GF selections during that time are very limited. We left without eating because we were very hungry.
Awesome! We dropped in just before brunch ended for a glass of wine and ended up having gf fish and chips too. They were wonderful! I was very surprised to see so many items on the menu identified as gluten free. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others coming to Long Beach.

We stayed at the Adrift Hotel and had room service. Staff is gluten friendly. Options are available if you ask the front desk but are not listed on their menu. My salmon was delicious! However the portion size was really small considering the price and lack of any included sides - some potatoes or something on the side would have brought my rating up much closer to 5 stars. We ordered the pork belly bits on the side... YUM! I'm gluten intolerant, not celiac, but I didn't have any reactions.
