Very careful to make a safe GF pizza. Occasionally they cook the pizza for the same length of time as a regular one but GF pizzas take a bit longer. They're always happy to fix it though, so that's a plus.
Not Celiac safe. Cross contamination is possible, they tell you this when you order.
Their gluten free pizza is really really good & with all the toppings you want at no extra cost, what's not to love?
I think the Gluten Free Crust is even better than the regular. I wish it wasn't $2 extra but I understand it probably costs more. They always ask if it's a preference or a allergy to be extra careful. If you have to be careful of cross contamination issues, it might be a problem because their hands might touch the regular dough then touch the toppings.

We were really craving pizza on our vacation. Half my family is gf, the other half isn't. This place allows each person to creat their own pizza crust (gf or reg) and toppings for one low price. It's amazing. We need one in Austin, Tx.

They keep all gf items separate, including the sauce. And it is delicious.
I have eaten here several times and never gotten sick. They also offer GF meatballs as toppings which is really nice and they have vegan cheese. I can't eat at most GF pizza places because they don't offer dairy free cheese. Their pizzas are really delicious and when you ask for GF Crust they ask you specifically if it's a preference of allergy. For those with allergy they will change out their gloves, get new ladels for the sauce and take the sauce from a separate squeeze bottle that has not been cross contaminated rather than the main container they get everyone else's from. Your pizza also gets prepped right in front of you while you choose the toppings on a fresh, clean new pan that hasn't been cross-contaminated. Largely this business gets it right. GF is not only about the ingredients, but the preparation and cross contamination issues are taken seriously when it comes to Gluten. One important note, however, I have seen cross contamination between ingredients. I have seen shreds of cheese contaminating other ingredients. So be aware.
My son has Celiac, and this is one of the few places in town he can eat. They have GF crusts, and if you tell them you need a "Gluten Free Allergy" pizza, someone washes their hands & puts on new gloves, the sauces are in separate bottles, they have different ladles, they dig in the back of the cheese bin to avoid cross-contamination & they place the pizza on a plate in the oven. We eat there weekly & my son has never been "glutened". There is an up charge for the GF pizza, but you get all the toppings you want for that single price. I highly recommend it!
The gluten free pizza was great! Go to their website and press the menu button then press the nutrition info button and press the allergy button and you will find many sides and sauces which are gluten free. I have soy allergies and was able to enter that in the portal and found which sauces I could have. The employee washed hands and changed gloves and stayed with my pizza to the end. The crust (looked like udi's) was stored separately, the sauce was in a bottle, and they would take meat etc from the bottom of the pan. If you are extremely sensitive this may not be the place for you.
We have eaten here twice. A family member has Celiacs and they are always mindful of her allergy. They ask if your GF order is preference or allergy, and take extra care and use a separate pan/gloves/utensils for allergies when preparing our pizzas. Great place for our family! Tuesday's are $6 pizza nights!
This place is horribly cross contaminated. They touch the dough with their gloves and then all the toppings so even if they change their gloves, the food is contaminated. Next they put the pizza in proximity to the other pizzas in the oven and I can almost bet they pulled my pizza out and cut it with tools they used on the other pizzas. I had a horrible and immediate reaction. I hate when they say they are "allergy" aware and yet no one gets it one bit.
5 stars! I have celiac and am sensitive to cross contamination and didn't get sick here. They changed gloves, used separate sauce, and cooked the pizza on a tray on a separate part of the oven. The people were nice and the pizza was crispy and delicious!
We loved this place and ate there several times while we were in San Diego. The servers ask if you are ordering gf due to preference or allergy, then handle accordingly. We never had any reactions, and the food was delicious! The crust was well cooked- never raw or dry, and the orders were always accurately filled. We particularly enjoyed building our own pizza with 2 sauces - spicy Marinara and regular red sauce. You have to specify that you want double sauce, not just mixed - but the result is tangy, moist, and delicious!
Pizza was so good. The crust was cross as it should be. They have special trained stuff who makes the pizza. U trained staff is not allowed to do the gf ones. They use new gloves and put a metal plate in the oven to heat it up while they prepare your pizza on another plate with a paper underneath. Then they shove the pizza from one plate to the hot one in the oven. If you say you have an allergy they seem to act more carefully
im not sure if my pizza was safe as they messed it up at least once and it took forever. the pizza slid off the pan on to the oven ovens it had to rebuilt. in fact the person whom ordered aGF pizza got hers well before me. the staff looked like they were all new, confused about cooking, cutting and serving our pizza. the pizza WAS good.
The gluten free pizza dough is excellent. The meatballs were gluten free as well. The preparers were very sensitive to cross contamination and changed their gloves and were sure not to contaminate the toppings. They had fresh vegetable toppings. I will definitely go back!

Based on reviews I tried PizzaRev and I glad I did. When I asked about Gluten Free the server asked, "preference or allergy". When I said allergy, she changed gloves and started to help me. You get to choose sauce, cheese, meats and vegetables. For a fast food pizza the best I've ever had. As far as gluten free pizzas, in the top five. It was great. A definite recommend.
They ask if gluten free due to allergy or lifestyle. If allergy then they call it out on a the line, get fresh gloves, use sauce from a squeeze bottle and walk your pizza thru on paper and a tray. It cooks on tray and then is delivered. Have never gotten sick from there.
This pizza place has all the toppings and sauces out and you can choose what you like. They had one person make my pizza (rather than slide it down the line) They used bottled sauces and a clean ladle to spread it around. They cooked the pizza in a pan rather than on the contaminated oven surface. The pizza turned out really crispy and flavorful. The only thing I wish they did differently was to have "reserve" toppings in a cooler or something since they tended to get a bit mixed together. However, she assured me all the toppings were gf. (If you were allergic to any of the toppings that would be bad though.) Vegan cheese was available for a bit more.

PizzaRev is amazing for Celiacs who miss having a quick pizza option. The choose-your-own-toppings for one price pizza chain has a gluten free crust option and all but 1-2 of the topping options are gluten free. For gluten allergies one team member changes their gloves and takes the pizza through the entire process, including placing on pan to cook in brick oven and bringing it to your table. We have been to this location multiple times with no cross contamination issues. The best part is since all pizzas are individual size, everyone can get exactly what they want, gluten free or not.
They are careful about changing gloves. Tasted great.

So happy I tried this pizza place. Their gluten free pizza crust is delicious. The manager told me that the recipe for it was created by a Ritz Carlton chef who had a family member with celiac disease. They were so careful prepping my pizza- clean gloves, plates, separate spoons and they cooked it on a special tray in the oven. They even have squirt bottles with their sauces for people with allergies/ celiac so that they dint use the same sauce/ spoons that touched the flour crusts.
Love this place! Gives the option of GF pizza for allergy or preference and understands the difference. A lifesaver for a quick dinner. However, for VERY sensitive folks be aware the pizzas are cooked in the same open oven with gluten pizzas but they use a metal tray so it doesn't touch the crumbs.
Ditto the previous reviews - love this place and the way they are so careful from start to finish to avoid gluten and cross contamination (separate work station, glove change, good labeling, separate sauces and cooking area). Will definitely be back.

Pizza & staff were great. When I asked about the gluten free options, they did ask if I was allergic to gluten. After that they made every effort to make sure there was no cross contamination, used gloves & separate utensils. Almost all the ingredients are gluten free.
Ditto the previous entry. They do have dedicated staff and certain ingredients set aside, so as to avoid cross-contamination. Most ingredients are common-use, but did not appear to have cross-contam issues. My wife is the GF individual. They ask if you have a GF preference versus allergy, and that is what determines how your food is prepared here. Make sure you let them know it's an allergy if you need to, and enjoy. Very quick service, fairly well kept up restaurant as well. We will be back when we visit the area again!
