Review of Pompano Joe's Seafood House

Restaurants has gluten free menu and have cross contact precautions including separate area for gf

Server Alexys H was extremely friendly - we spent about 10 minutes talking about what gluten is

When she brought our meals out there were two fried balls on top of my meal (which I have learned were hush puppies) so I questioned if it was gluten free - she instantly felt terrible and said oh my gosh no I’m so sorry! She explained that it was her mistake and when she brings food out she grabs the hush puppies and puts them on the plate and put of habit it was her fault - she explained she would have the entire meal remade from scratch

She felt so terrible that she came back out and had been crying - she was so apologetic and truly felt so bad. It took 20 minutes but they brought me out a brand new meal and I was ok with it but she still kept apologizing

(I get so sick so I always quadruple check)

Anyway I had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken with salsa, baked potato and veggies. Portions were huge and I have leftovers.

I do recommend but just make sure that you double check and question
