This place is phenomenal. The food is soooo good for meat lovers as well as vegans. My daughter was disappointed that I was taking her to a vegan restaurant. Then she couldn’t decide what she wanted because it all sounded good. We were both very happy with our meals. They were delicious. Highly recommend!!!!
This spot is amazing! It smells so good every time you walk in, and even though it might not be advertised hard, the entire place is gluten-free. I had a really delicious chai with coconut milk and a breakfast wrap. Their gluten-free wrap is delicious, and even if you’re not vegan, the bacon, tofu egg, and cheese are all really delicious. My husband didn’t love his avocado toast, but the wrap is definitely worth a visit. Their food is super healthy, organic, and even their water is filtered.
We visit this restaurant a few times a year. I always get the BLT wrap, which is yummy. Everything in the menu is GF. The only thing that keeps me from going back more is this place is also dairy free. Their priority is the vegan community but this is a great place to go and support.
This was a very unexpected pleasant surprise!!! I seriously can not stop thinking of my fantastic breakfast this morning! I had THE best blueberry and pecan waffle with rosemary home fries and my daughter (non GF) had a banana and chocolate chip waffle. She LOVED it just as much as I loved mine. You’d never know it’s gluten free and vegan. I wish I lived closer! Seattle hasn’t figured out a good waffle place yet.
Delicious breakfast, friendly and inviting place! Note that the menu is not appropriate for anyone with a nut allergy - but for dairy free and gluten free, it's wonderful. I got the Super Cindy Pocket (a wrap that's been pannini'd) and you would not even know it was vegan, it was so good! The Dandy Mushroom latte was also delicious.
They're GF, but if you have any other food allergies or sensitivities, I'd be very cautious. They only have some menu items marked with allergens. My boyfriend and I went there because I'm gluten free– he got something that was NOT marked with a tree nut allergen (even though other menu items were marked). He had an allergic reaction and we had to go to the ER, only to find out there were tree nuts in the dish, and it simply wasn't marked on the menu.
If you have celiac disease and you’re sensitive to any cross contamination, be careful! I have a Nima gluten sensor and although the breakfast burrito was gluten free, there was gluten found in the cashew based cheesecake. I imagine that the nuts have traces of wheat. The staff was very friendly and their intentions are very good! However, I’m not sure you can call this a dedicated gluten free facility. If you’re not sensitive to cross contamination, then give this place a try!
5 Stars for hard core glutten free.... the caption should read -
"Look us up on Find Me Gluten Free"
3.5 Stars overall
Earthy
the focus is very heavy on earthy purity at the expense of general appeal
My lunch was great but non mainstream
What a lovely little place! It’s GF and vegan, too. They also have a list of other allergens they don’t use. I’ve been twice, and loved it both times. I believe I got the strawberry milkshake with cacao powder and then some wraps both times. Cheesecake in the fridge is to DIE FOR. Definitely stop here if you’re in the area! We will be for sure.
It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to order every single thing on the menu without worrying about getting sick! Portia’s is also vegan, which is much lighter than I’m used to, but still totally delicious! I will definitely be going back on a weekend to try their waffles
EVERYTHING in the place is gf and vegan. To top it off they have onion or garlic or onion and garlic free options for those working with a low fodmap diet. Only possible allergen I could see that could be an issue would be a nut allergy as many many recipes are made with nuts. Excellent place. Oh how I wish I lived closer!
Love that they are dedicated gluten-free, no worries about cross-contamination. Server clarified that there was no meat before we ordered. Really liked how friendly and informative they were.. we may have ordered wrong… I got a lettuce wrap Mediterranean and my daughter got a quesadilla. She did not like her so much
There were so many items on the menu that I wanted to try! I was very excited that on the dips and starters menu they offer samplers. We choose a 1/2 of sampler. We had traditional hummus and spinach artichoke dip. Both were beyond amazing. The spinach artichoke dip, which is also called Spanko is made with spinach, collard greens kale and more! YUMMM You can choose your scoopers so we choose tortilla chips and rice crackers. Both Little Chef and I enjoyed our starter! We had lots of other yummies as well! The menu choices are amazing and bountiful. On Sundays they serve gluten-free vegan waffles. Yes, I am pretty sure we need to return on a Sunday with the entire family! The atmosphere is fun, calm, accepting and just right for our experience.
