Review of Proposition Chicken

Omg, this place totally changed my attitude toward GF restaurant eating in SF. Until I found Proposition Chicken, my strict celiac diet had me sweating at the very thought of trying out a new restaurant, and I thought I'd just never be able to eat anything really delicious ever again. What a horrible way to live! Thankfully, those days are gone. Proposition Chicken has a dedicated GF fryer and their GF buns are awesome and fresh out of the oven. The GF buns are so good that, recently, when there was a mix up in our takeout order, my seven year old daughter was heartbroken that her sandwich came on a wheat bun (she is not celiac)!

And...GF fried chicken sandwiches...need I say more??? There's only a few options on the menu but they are masters of the fried chicken craft. An added bonus is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover with the employees, and the friendly counter people almost always remember the particulars about my standard order, so it's nice to see a familiar face and not feel like I'm being fussy. Plus , the lack of turnover indicates that the owner treats his employees well and pays them a fair wage, which is important to me.
