Unfortunately, despite all of the good historical reviews, our experience was mixed for our 3 Celiacs. Things we learned: 1) menu has zero info about GF or any other food allergies. 2) clam chowder is not GF. 3) the gentleman taking our order had no knowledge about celiac/GF, but did appear to ask the kitchen every question we asked. 4) they claim to only cook fries in the fry frier, and to never have bread on the grill. 5) fish and chips were delicious, and our two Celiacs who ate that seemed fine. 6) my wife had a grilled chicken breast with cheese on a lettuce wrap with the house sauce, fries, and a salad with ranch. She felt significantly ill 30 minuets later, with her classic symptoms of having been glutenized. 7) when our tray of food was brought out, a non-Celiac’s order of salad with bread came out on the same tray (not visibly touching any Celiacs’ food at that moment, but a potential source of cross contamination). Not sure what the ultimate culprit was (house sauce? Ranch? — we did ask about both — cross cont?), but for 1/3, it hasn’t been pretty...
