The pizza was delicious-the gluten free crust was in a separate metal tin and everyone changed their gloves. However they got the toppings out of the same containers that they had been pulling from with the previous gloves which is definitely a risk. Wasn’t pleased with that but my daughter is a highly reactive Celiac and had no symptoms and loved the pizza.

PYRO’s has really great gluten free pizza! They have a gluten free crust that is placed in a separate metal tin so it doesn’t touch other pizzas/crust crumbs when it’s in the wood fire oven. If you order a gluten free crust, everyone down the line changes their gloves. They will also grab all of your toppings from untouched containers that haven’t been put in the line yet. They also have a separate cauliflower crust but this is not in a separate tray so cross contamination is likely with this crust. Lastly, they also have great salad options where you can build your own with yummy toppings.

Incredible- every detail that a person with celiac needs, has been answered. This owner cares, and trained their staff to care. So impressed and grateful!

The pizza was delicious! They asked if my GF crust was for an allergy or preference and then proceeded to make my food safely and separately from the gluten pizzas.

2022 Update…I feel the current staff has not been adequately trained. They did ask me and do all the things I mentioned in my previous review…however, they were having to ask what to ask and I had to correct their handling of the food…in the end I did end up getting sick…They put the metal clip on allergen tray and those clips aren’t supposed to touch anywhere on an allergen pizza. We got two…one had the clip and then the worker asked on the second one and she was told not to put the clip on the pizza pan. Super disappointed…we didn’t catch that until after the fact. Will likely not return.
They ask if you are GF for preference or allergy. If allergy they take all precautions...pulling meat, cheese, sauce, etc from new containers, glove changes, special pans. Have eaten here several times and have never gotten sick! I have celiac and am very sensitive!
