Incredible- every detail that a person with celiac needs, has been answered. This owner cares, and trained their staff to care. So impressed and grateful!

This is about my 5th time at this location so I feel comfortable enough saying that this location consistently does the right thing when it comes to gluten free celuac safe pizza. They use separate ingredients, change gloves, use dedicated utensils, and isolate every single time. Recommend and feel safe here.

Pyro’s is a great choice for gluten free pizza. Everything is separate so there’s no chance of cross contamination. They also yell “glove change” before they start my order. I have never had any issues eating at Pyro’s

The pizza dough was prepped and kept separate in a plastic bag away from regular crust. Separate spoon for sauces, separate bins for all toppings. In separate drawers away from contaminants. Most cross contamination friendly we have ever seen.

UPDATE: Ate here 8-17-21 and they are having trouble getting gf crust from their supplier and are almost out, so call before you go to see if they have gf crust. They have a gluten free pizza crust in its own pie tin, so that it never touches contaminated surfaces. They even offered to pull toppings from the drawers below rather than the open containers on top, to ensure no cross contamination. Changed gloves, used clean instruments to cut pizza. I was very impressed. There was no limitation on the pizza toppings, and my 15 yr old felt like a normal person eating in a restaurant for the first time since being diagnosed.

The pizza was delicious! They asked if my GF crust was for an allergy or preference and then proceeded to make my food safely and separately from the gluten pizzas.

The pizza was delicious-the gluten free crust was in a separate metal tin and everyone changed their gloves. However they got the toppings out of the same containers that they had been pulling from with the previous gloves which is definitely a risk. Wasn’t pleased with that but my daughter is a highly reactive Celiac and had no symptoms and loved the pizza.

2022 Update…I feel the current staff has not been adequately trained. They did ask me and do all the things I mentioned in my previous review…however, they were having to ask what to ask and I had to correct their handling of the food…in the end I did end up getting sick…They put the metal clip on allergen tray and those clips aren’t supposed to touch anywhere on an allergen pizza. We got two…one had the clip and then the worker asked on the second one and she was told not to put the clip on the pizza pan. Super disappointed…we didn’t catch that until after the fact. Will likely not return.
They ask if you are GF for preference or allergy. If allergy they take all precautions...pulling meat, cheese, sauce, etc from new containers, glove changes, special pans. Have eaten here several times and have never gotten sick! I have celiac and am very sensitive!
