Would give a 5 stars. Foods great small selection on gluten free menu but enough to get you by with you're Mexican food cravings. Only one bad experience with a server. Not sure if there was a language barrier? But he just rang our order competently wrong and never tended us with refills. So we were iffy if he even rang in a ticket that said gluten allergy.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I ate there last night and was extremely sick in the bathroom 3/4 of the way through my meal!! They started by giving me the "gluten free corn chips" and salsa. I asked 3 different people if they were really gf until I really pressed one and she admitted it was fried in the same fryalator! I ordered the steak, beans and rice off of their gf menu and that is what made me severely sick!! I brought to the attention of the staff and there was not even an apology. Besides the gf issues the staff just seemed to not even have time to stop at our table. Even our waitress would just talk to us as she was walking by. Worst service ever!! I will be calling the manager again today!

Never again will I eat here! Got very sick from the food, and will not be back...Some places just don't understand Taft you need to keep the gluten free food and the regular food separate...I'm just getting a little sick and tired of these places taking allergies so lightly

not only they sent someone at my table to the hospital for serving contaminated food, manager took longer to come to our table than the paramedics to arrive and take the seizing diner to the hospital. not only that, all the response I got was "we never had a problem", "we will provide ingredient list if the hospital asks for it", and "you have to pay to prove that you ate here". mind I add that aside from SAYING that he's treating this seriously, nothing he did reflects that: showed no sympathy, offered no solution, being non-apologetic/defensive, and basically treated customers who raise a concern as if they're here complaining just for the sake of a free meal.

if you are very sensitive and wanna risk getting really sick, please, by all means entrust your intestines and health to this lousy place. let's not even get into all other services mishaps for the night. this alone is enough to never go back.

accidents happen, but not owning up to the problem when a situation arises is unacceptable in any business practice - especially intolerable when you just "allegedly" put someone's health in great jeopardy.

Would never eat here again. Shoddy service (over 1.5 hours to get entrees, couldn't get more than two drinks in that time because the waiter never showed up), inept servers that obviously are not trained to be GF, and low food quality. The place is run by idiots. Wait staff is overwhelmed by a slight rush--you would think a large party of younger people would be getting constant drinks, but not this staff. They will assume you want water, and only if you ask multiple times for it. Orders will be lost, forgotten. Food is all premade, yet takes that long to bring out? One of our dishes came with paper inside it, obviously a wrapper of some sort. What do you think the staff did when this was brought up? "It's supposed to be there". As if paper is intentionally served with their "authentic" food. Served on a plate, no less. My little sister got severely sick eating there, and all the manager cared about was the liability--deny everything. Not finding out the cause, or setting things right. The list of ingredients he gave us when we asked to bring it to the hospital so we could know what caused the allergic reaction? He gave us the menu and a verbal disclaimer that he was certain it wasn't them, and it was us obviously wanting a comped meal. Never mind that my sister took only one bite of her gritty, over salted dinner and didn't have a single drink. To them, it's only about dollars and cents. No wonder they don't bother to train their staff properly, or use the proper GF ingredients. I wouldn't eat here again, GF or not. It was an awful experience made worse by management that simply does not care about the welfare of paying customers. Avoid at all costs.

Ate here tonight off the gluten free menu and got so sick that I had a seizure in the restaurant and had to be taken away via ambulance. If you are celiac and sensitive, DO NOT EAT HERE. I am literally writing this from a hospital bed and would not wish this upon my worst enemy. And it wasn't even very tasty.

Love this restaurant. Something for everyone on their regular and GF menus. My celiac kids share an adult-sized GF Fajita and both are happy. I dream about the Carne Asada meal. The staff are GIG trained. You do have to be on your toes, however. The chips and salsa are sometimes OK and sometimes not. Diner beware. I skip the chips and the nachos because they don't seem to understand about cooking the chips in a dedicated frier with fresh oil. I wish I could say the chips were safe but I no longer trust them after getting very sick once. That's the only reason I've gone from five to four stars. I'd love to have the chips and salsa. Or the nachos. But I don't trust either. One point deduction for that.
