Staff had little knowledge of what was gluten free. Followed allergy menu and still got sick afterwards.
Very limited options. Ordered gluten-free cheesecake from the online menu. Confirmed with woman taking order that it was gluten-free. Arrived to pick up order and found out cheesecake was not gluten-free and had not been for the past 10 months, even though their website says otherwise.
I use to work there and they have a computer system that tells cooks when to change gloves, utensils, there specific fryer and grill. Food is also plated separately on a different serving tray! I have celiac as well!
I ordered a burger without a bun and it was very tasty. I got a side salad with it (no dressing). I also got a baked potato with butter and that was all delicious.
They have a few different choices. They have come out with a new menu but don’t have a gluten free menu so they gave me the allergy list binder so I had to play detective to figure out what I could have. I ended doing the pick 2 main dishes and a side combo. I had shrimp scampi with steam broccoli. That was enough for me and tasted great!
I haven't been to Red Lobster in years. I asked for the allergen guide and they brought me a notebook with all the major allergies. They even had a column that indicated a higher level of possible cross-contamination because of how it's prepared. I got a loaded baked potato and coleslaw (neither marked for cross-contamination). I did not get sick. It's good to know that's an option if needed.
