They seemed knowledgeable at first, but once we got to ordering, I missed the part where it said there were tortilla crisps in the quesadilla. Due to the shared fryer, I don’t consider them safe. When the quesadilla came out, I inspected it just in case and noticed the tortilla crisps. The waiter reassured us 2 times that it was just cheese. But my fiancé grabbed a menu and talked to the manager and it was in fact the tortilla crisps. They sent it back and made a new one. I started eating the new one but it STILL had tortilla crisps. Eat at your own risk but we won’t be returning.

I ordered the tacos here (corn tortillas) with shredded beef and they were delicious! I was told the chips were corn chips so I ate them and they were good as well. No reactions! I’ve seen some previous posters say the chips aren’t GF but I’m assuming it’s just because of a shared fryer but I didn’t have a problem (I am a symptomatic celiac). Overall was a good experience.

We ate here on a Sunday night and they were out of the “Gf flour” tortillas. The only option was corn, which made for a very small quesadilla. The chips are not safe, so we brought our own.

This is a go to for me when I am in town. I ate here last summer as well as this summer and I haven’t gotten sick. Make sure you advocate for yourself and needs when ordering. The best thing you can get here is a burrito! They use Udi’s tortillas and they are amazing. Bring your own chips with you- they no longer offer safe GF chips but encourage you to bring your own. I have eaten here twice in the last week and have loved my meals.

The food and service was great. There are a ton of gluten free options on the menu and they brought out a separate bag of GF chips to the table. I got the chicken burrito with a GF tortilla which was very good

I absolutely loved eating at this place. The food was great and the servers were SO knowledgeable. I got a sealed bag of tortilla chips and the gluten free menu is very clear and has almost everything from the main menu. I didn’t get sick at all and I’ll definitely be back! I felt very safe.

I'd been to the TC location twice and was excited there was one in Boyne closer to home. I informed the server of my allergy and she assured me the salsa was safe then brought a bag of GF chips! The enchiladas and burritos are AMAZING. Seriously, I'm dying to know where they get their burrito shells! All meats are prepared safely and GF. I highly recommend this for GF and non-GF diners alike!

An actual, separate, GF menu! Very knowledgeable staff if you inform them you’re celiac. Many delicious options and was very impressed. Will be back!

AMAZING Mexican with a “celiac friendly” menu. The waitress was so sweet and brought me all the gluten free chips and salsa my little heart desired. Enchiladas were terrific. It was great to be able to eat good authentic Mexican food again

Plenty of gluten free options! Service was great and food was decent.

The food here was SO SO good! Waitress and hostess were so sweet and knowledgeable. I had the beef burrito with black beans and a side of smoked refried beans (no gluten or dairy). The flavors were so great! Wish I could go back but I have limited time in town. Go there! You’ll love it!
They understand the importance of preventing cross-contamination. They have a gluten-free soft tortilla that was delicious. We enjoyed gluten-free burritos! Lots of options to choose from.
Yes
Gluten free menu with many options. Waitress Paula had no time to deal with our questions and concerns. I asked about the different Margaritas and she thought we were ridiculous. Manager made up for this careless waitress. Food good and safe. Atmosphere very crowded and overly loud. Experience was way below expectations. Traverse City much more worth the drive.

Had the fajitas, and they were awesome. Staff is very knowledgeable with celiac. Highly recommend.

Great place for celiacs. Not just a GF menu, but a "Celiac Safe" menu! Staff very knowledgeable and able to accommodate other allergies at our table too by consulting chef. Excellent service.

Food was awesome. Josh our waiter was very good. They brought bags of gluten free chips, and extra bowls of salsa.
They bring gf chips for salsa or you can bring your own in. The chicken and chorizo stuffed poblano was awesome. The enchilada platter was good.
We've had a good experience here. The wait person, Becky, was knowledgable and very sweet and accommodating. My daughter is very hard to feed (no meat, spice, lettuce, dairy) but she had rice, beans, avocado and corn tortillas. The corn tortillas fell apart and the rice is cooked in butter which is why I didn't give them five stars. A lot of celiacs have issues with dairy, too. They did well with my son's nut allergy as well.
Yes
Celiac friendly, yes. Gluten free menu and separate corn chips for the salsa, but no mention of separate salsa for the GF chips, hence cross contamination. Also, when our meals finally came the food was luke warm at best and not very tasty. I ordered the "soft corn" taco and it was dry and fell apart instantly. The best part of the entire meal was the margarita, and the fact that our kids did not have to wait for their meals to cool down. We come to this part of town often, but will not return to this restaurant!

The reviews are true. Very nice amount of GF menu items and staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of their items and gluten options. I didn't feel like I was missing out.

Oh. My. Gosh. They had an amazing menu full of choices, instead of the normal two or three gluten free choices. They even had separate tortilla chips, as they could not promise that their regular chips were completely safe. Very tasty, and the staff was very knowledgable and super friendly. One of my favorite GF friendly restaurants so far!
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! A "Celiac Safe" menu, staff is knowledgable and AMAZING food! The celiac menu has a variety of appetizers, special meals, enchiladas, tacos, desserts, mixed drinks, and beer!
Yes
has A CELIAC menu! Great food and margaritas!
Yes
Best gluten free Mexican food I ever had. They have lots if options unlike other Mexican restaurants. Big portions and very filling a great place for dinner.
Delicious food, and they are confident enough to call their GF menu celiac safe. Chips are made in a shared fryer. They also have an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu, but only one dish crosses over between it and the GF menu - wild mushroom fajitas. They were great though. Would go back again if ever back in town!
Yes
I live Red Mesa! They have a gf menu, n I've never had a problem with their stuff. Their chips in TC are gf, so I guess I'll hafta check about that at the boyne location
Gluten free menu, need to watch prep especially on take out, chips not GF
