Make sure you use the word “allergy” when ordering as this puts an alert on your order. I was asked if it was an allergy or personal preference and told that personal preferences are not taken seriously by the kitchen. This does make me question how seriously they take allergies but I wouldn’t know if there was cross contamination as I don’t have symptoms.
I got a burger and fries. The gluten free bun was surprisingly good. Fries can be prepared in a dedicated fryer - be sure to request this. I was told the patties aren’t cooked on a separate spot on the grill but they are kept separate from the buns.
Red Robin’s website has a great interactive allergy menu that helps you figure out which items you need to avoid or make substitutions on. Everyone else’s burgers came with a wooden stake and mine came with a purple colored one to distinguish it.
