Well, they changed their policies and are no longer able to discuss allergies with the staff. You have to look on an iPad yourself and your server will literally refuse to answer any questions about any allergy concerns. Needless to say….I got wheated. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with gf bun, pepperJack and fries from the gf fryer. Not sure if it was CC or what but $50 for 2 burgers and 2 sodas with packaged shredded lettuce and unripe tomatoes on the burgers? Yeah…never again

Make sure you use the word “allergy” when ordering as this puts an alert on your order. I was asked if it was an allergy or personal preference and told that personal preferences are not taken seriously by the kitchen. This does make me question how seriously they take allergies but I wouldn’t know if there was cross contamination as I don’t have symptoms.
I got a burger and fries. The gluten free bun was surprisingly good. Fries can be prepared in a dedicated fryer - be sure to request this. I was told the patties aren’t cooked on a separate spot on the grill but they are kept separate from the buns.
Red Robin’s website has a great interactive allergy menu that helps you figure out which items you need to avoid or make substitutions on. Everyone else’s burgers came with a wooden stake and mine came with a purple colored one to distinguish it.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
My first GF outing. I love that they have a dedicated frier. Waitress seemed at ease and had no problem accommodating me.
The meal here was good and I don't think I had any bad reactions to the food. However, be aware that the gluten free menu is only on-line. You need to look at it before you arrive unless you have a smart phone. The waitress here was sweet and let me borrow her phone with the menu on it. The fries were cooked separately and came in a special container.

There isn't a whole lot available when I visit my daughter in Yakima so I am glad that RR has some options for us all to enjoy! The cook even let me know they have a dedicated fryer too! Joy!
the gluten hamburger bun was amazing. I asked the waitress and the cook actually told me where they get those amazing buns. Its Udi' s buns. Love it!
Love their dedicated gluten free fryer to avoid cross-contamination of fries. Staff is knowledgeable and sensitive to celiac needs. This is now my favorite place to eat out in Yakima.

I visited from out of town and was pleasantly surprised. The server was helpful and respectful!
Always great. They take extra care not to cross contaminate.
Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out
My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
