The food is good but they don’t properly train their employees and the GF menu can be wrong. Was served food twice recently and both times was not given gluten free food. BTW, the smoked sausages were on the GF menu. They were delicious and after I finished my meal asked how they made them. Was told were just smoked Johnsonville Italian Sausage links that had been boiled in onion and beer. Ugh.
Special gluten free menu and such attentive staff!! Got in super late after a full day of driving and felt so at home. Highly recommend
Be sure your waiter knows what gluten-free means. I asked for the g-f menu (which they have) and ordered the stuffed poblano from it. However, the waitress brought the breaded (gluten) version. When I took a bite, I realized it was not the g-f version, so I had to scrape the breading off and risk contamination. When the waitress returned to the table (finally) I asked her why she didn’t give me the g-f version since I’d ordered from the g-f menu. Her reply was, “Oh, I didn’t think the whole table wanted the g-f one.” Aaarrgghhh!!!! I explained that the rest of my group had already ordered a gluten app, which I couldn’t eat, so I was ordering one I could eat. She seemed unimpressed. Why have a g-f menu and advertise your restaurant as gluten-free friendly and not train your staff???
They do now have a gf menu. It has several starters and ample entrees and salads to choose from. I had the Cajun trout with dill tarter sauce and grilled zucchini and coleslaw as sides. It was good and satisfying, but not amazing. Next time I plan to try the peblano pepper starter. It sounds delicious.
They have a wonderful Gluten Free menu! The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. And the food was absolutely Wonderful!!! I highly recommend! It was so nice to share a wonderful meal with my husband and not feel like I was giving up anything and not feel the slightest bit ill afterwards.
No GF menu but waitress was very helpful and had her own list. Found me a GF appetizer, salad, and entrée; and offered me a GF dessert as well. It was a bit loud for me. Portions were huge! Update for second visit- ordered GF salad and asked waitress to verify GF which she did but first bite found a crouton! Manager was apologetic but I consider this error unacceptable...
They had a gluten free menu I got to look at, and it was laminated and the same size as the regular menus which I thought was nice. My waitress seemed very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. I got the cheeseburger and the manager brought my food out. It had the best gluten free bun I’d had, not crumbly at all and really soft. The cheeseburger tasted very good, and as a disclaimer my stomach did hurt a little after but it was probably the American cheese and not the bun or any cross contamination.
The food was delicious! I had the steak with mashed potatoes and grilled squash & zucchini. They had a whole separate gluten free menu which was really nice. When I ordered, our waitress let the kitchen know I was gluten free and when our food was brought out, they let my partner (who has no issues with gluten) know that one of his sides did have gluten in it, in case we were wanting to share. Overall the food was delicious and the experience was great.
The only place I have found in the Tulsa and surrounding area I can have a gluten free stuffed poblano and it is MAGNIFICENT. The kind of magnificent that leaves you wanting more. I usually order the poblano and mashed potatoes or glazed carrots. This night I ordered both! Everything I have tried is full of flavor and I have never had any kind of reaction. The hostess and wait staff are very knowledgeable and patient with my GF and food allergy questions. I really enjoy eating here. It is a little noisy when they are busy and they are usually busy but the food is worth it!
