Gluten free options include grilled items and all the stews served with semolina have the option of being served with rice instead. Several exquisitely tasty options that are gluten free. The mint tea is out of this world.

Há opções sem gluten mas não são marcadas no cardápio. Pedi um grelhado que vinha acompanhado de salada porque achei mais seguro. O garçom não sabia muito sobre alergenicos.

I ordered the shakshuka and tropical sorbet (the coconut flavor was heaven). I also had their delicious green tea. My friend’s kid couldn’t finish her meat (beef), so I ate a piece of that and didn’t get sick either. (This was near the beginning of my diagnosis so I wasn’t as strict about where I ate, but this place definitely kept me safe.) There is still a risk of cross contamination. I recommend using a celiac restaurant card translated into French. I speak fluent French, so I could easily ask questions and tell them it is my wheat/gluten allergy and celiac disease. Even though I am way stricter about where I go these days (after getting sick in the USA too many times), I would happily eat here again. I would take the same precautions though. At the very least, it’s a great place to grab a mint green tea. There is a patio type area in the front of the restaurant for that and we ate our meal on the inside. I have been here before I was diagnosed and I think I ordered something naturally gluten free back then too.
