Wonderful meal! Madame spoke English haltingly but brought the chef out to assist me with my order. I had the guinea fowl in cider sauce which was excellent. For dessert I had the white chocolate/chocolate mousse with Chantilly which was as wonderful as it sounds. With a stone fire place and. Wood burning fire place and lots of lovely French Country charm made for a a very special evening and no cross contamination.

Lovely traditional French cuisine at a very reasonable price: 3-course menu for 20 euros. Family-run (husband in the kitchen, wife at the front), and very courteous and friendly service. Not English-speaking, but very patient. Mention celiac or gluten-free (which will be understood) and they will explain the possible choices (of which there are many - just had the duck w/ mango, served with the potatoes dauphin, and they were divine). Phone ahead and they will make special arrangements (like obtaining gluten-free bread).
