Some GF items on the menu. Our waiter was also GF and told us that they could also adapt some of the dishes. However, that doesn’t extend to the pastas - they do not offer GF pasta. Food was delicious and the view is better. We visited in December and after sunset the mosquitos were quite prolific. Access is via stairs. Not recommended for anyone with mobility challenges or allergies to mosquitos.

Really positive experience here. When booked, we advised in the online form that I had coeliac disease. I don’t usually rely on that to inform staff, but when we arrived, they were already aware of it. I was advised they’d take measures to reduce cross contamination, and all ingredients were checked. I had the same experience where one of the salads had flour in the sauce, but we were advised of this - however, they should fix this up, as it shouldn’t state GF. Nonetheless, the service was amazing and I felt safe. Even the deserts, it was so nice to be able to enjoy one of those too.

Ripples is an upscale restaurant that overlooks the beautiful Chowder Bay. Their menu is clearly labelled and just over half their dishes are gluten free. I have to note that although the broccoli side is labelled GF, it has gorgonzola sauce which has flour in it. But the waitress was very knowledgeable and informed us of this. She also told the kitchen to prepare the dish without the gorgonzola so that it would be safe. We also ordered the buffalo mozzarella, cured salmon, barramundi main, beef tenderloin, caramelised chocolate and panna cotta. All were incredibly yummy and coeliac safe.
