Good BBQ Brisket. I checked with the manager prior to sitting down. He showed me their GF menu and assured me that it would be prepped separately and they would change gloves. I am celiac with a dairy allergy. After getting seated the waitress was already informed of my allergies and then checked with the cook staff on dairy free sides. I got the chopped brisket basket with coleslaw. It was very good. I did not get sick, which is always a good thing! I would definitely eat here again when in the area.

They have a gluten-free menu upon request. I had called a couple of times before going there and the people were helpful and seemed to be knowledgeable. The gluten-free menu has a fair number of things on there. Most of the meat is fine, the mashed potatoes without gravy is fine, potato salad, etc. Not the best bbq I’ve ever had…

Called twice before my trip to see if this restaurant would be Celiac safe as I was scheduled to eat here for a work event. The first manager I spoke with told me that, while the restaurant has a gluten free menu, it does not take any precautions to avoid cross contamination. The fryer is not dedicated and I was told surfaces and utensils were shared across gluten and non gluten free items. The manager also noted that he could “not guarantee” me safety.
The second time I called a different manager, who was a little more patient with me, made it seem like it could be safe to eat here, however he wasn’t immediately aware of what foods did or did not have gluten. He said the meat was gluten free but the mashed potatoes were not (although the mashed potatoes are on the GF menu). He then corrected himself and said the mashed potatoes were gluten free. Given both conversations, I decided it would not be safe to eat here.

Has a separate gluten free menu. Seems that they just take the bread off the sandwiches to make it gluten free.
Server had little knowledge about the difference between the regular and gluten free menu. (We were told after the meal that he was new and fresh off of training) I ordered the half chicken from the gluten free menu, which should have come without bread, but there were two slices of toast on the plate.
My mother ordered the chicken breast from the gluten free menu and received the chicken club on a gluten bun. It was taken back into the kitchen and she was brought back out a piece of grilled chicken with bacon and Swiss cheese. None of the sides that were supposed to come with the chicken breast were brought out, and there shouldn’t have been bacon on it.
They kindly comped my mom’s meal, but I would highly recommend reconsidering here if you’re very sensitive to cross contamination.
