Excellent meal!! The risotto with shrimp and calamari was wonderful. We also had the beet salad and bruschetta. I even splurged with the peach cobbler and was not disappointed at all. The restaurant was so accommodating. I was able to eat my whole meal which was both gluten and dairy free :)
Amazing meal at a completely safe and dedicated facility. My husband has severe celiac and was able to enjoy a delicious and safe meal. He felt great the next day with no side effects. We enjoyed the fritto misto , duck ragu risotto, and the truffle risotto. We also had the blueberry panna cotta for dessert. Amazing - drooling as I type this. It’s the only location they have in the US and all other locations are in Italy, which feels like having a little piece of Italy here :). Highly recommend.
Felt like I was back in Rome! Had a great dinner here. Loved the bruschetta and zafferano e cinghiale risotto. Also tried a few bites of the limone e gamberi (shrimp) risotto and it was great. Tiramisu and profiteroles were both yummy. All in all, really wonderful little spot, and nothing feels better than knowing you can order anything on the menu :)
Dedicated gluten-free restaurant, family owned with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They accommodate dairy free by eliminating cheese. As I am dairy intolerant, I had the fritto misto and the risotto with duck ragu without cheese. Both were outstanding!!! I look forward to going back again. We were there on a Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but we had excellent service- reservations highly suggested.
FYI for dairy free: they don’t offer vegan cheese and they don’t have plant based milk for coffee.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! My favorite meal while visiting NYC. The cacio e pepe risotto is unbelievable as well as the calamari. The arancini was also great. 100% gluten free so no need to worry about cross contamination. I was so happy eating here and can’t wait to return! 10/10 recommend!
Such an amazing restaurant. My celiac son was so excited to not have to worry about cross contamination at all as this place is 100% gf. Everything on the menu was wonderful. We particularly liked the Caesar salad, the truffle fries, the lemon shrimp risotto, and the cheesecake. Highly recommend!
My experience here was fantastic! The atmosphere was great and the staff was very welcoming! It was 100% gluten free so no risk of cross contact:) Also the food is just amazing, even my non-celiac sister enjoyed! I have now eaten at three of their locations (New York, Milan, and Rome) and the meals are consistently delicious! Highly recommend if you are visiting New York!
A dedicated gluten-free family-owned eatery with knowledgeable staff. I’m also dairy free & there were many choices. We ate Fritto Misto (crispy/light fried calamari, shrimps and zucchini battered in rice flour with spicy tomato sauce), salad, and two kinds of risotto: wild mushrooms and with duck breast ragu. The food was beautifully flavorful. The staff were great.
A video of their process, from growing and harvesting special rice in Italy to cooking methods, was interesting. There are branches in Rome, Venice, Florence and Verona.
A very welcoming restaurant with amazing food. It is a dedicated gluten free family-owned eatery with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They worked together to create a memorable and lasting impression. Everything we ate was very tasty and rich with flavor. Watching the history of their methods (on a TV in the restaurant) of how they grow and harvest their food was interesting and enlightening. I am a Celiac and have rarely enjoyed a meal like this. My highest praise and recommendation.
Entirely gluten free menu - an amazing number of options. Terrific polenta, risotto, French fries, GF pasta, fresh vegetables and meat. Many vegetarian options as well. Highly recommended
Whenever I go into the city, this place is my MUST do. Not only is the staff warm and accommodating (for example, the waitress remembers everytime and is SO sweet) but to know I can eat safely here, is beautiful. You get bread, which already gets extra points because I can rarely partake in that appetizers when going out. Every option is GF, dedicated and you will never find another risotto that tastes better. It captures that Italy experience, where it all tastes fresh and less additives.
They offer limited options outside of risotto but cover the standards such as salads and steaks. You can’t go wrong here. This is a staple for any NY celiac!
Cute decor and completely gf menu. Items not particularly hearty for cost.
We ordered the cacio e pepe risotto and caesar salad which were delicious. The salad was a little salty for my taste, but the croutons were absolutely delicious. I am not normally a huge risotto enjoyer, but I will certainly be back for the cacio e pepe. It was delightfully creamy and peppery. Always love finding an all gluten free place, and to me this is a must visit in nyc.
What a fun place! We loved it, from the cute & cozy interior to the special appetizer, sparkling rose, risotto entrees, & the generous serving of profiteroles for dessert. Great, friendly staff. My only regret was not adding a green salad for a contrast to all the rice-based food. You can even buy their Melotti brand rice & pasta to take home.
I have celiac and I found this little place very nice! They are a committed gluten free and have a wide variety of Italian food that was very good! They also have dairy free options. They charged us for water but other than that the prices were good ranging for 20 - 30 dollars for a pasta. Overall very good and recommended this!
