The risotto is very expensive, the dish was very small and the taste was so-so, we had to add a lot of salt because it didn’t have much taste. Definitely not worth the high price. We also had a bad experience with the waiter (which looks more like the owner) he had a very pushy attitude and kept trying convincing us to order many things we didn’t want like wine and drinks. By his aggressive attitude we felt uncomfortable. When we ordered a dessert he said we should take 2 deserts and not only one and we said only wish to have one dessert. Even after ordering a desert he kept pushing us getting two desserts by saying it’s such a small desert and won’t be enough. the desert by the way is pretty big and not small at all. Lastly, when we ordered the risotto, he suggested that we can add mushroom to the dish and we agreed, unfortunately when we asked for the check we were surprised to find out that we have been charged for extra $5 because of the mushrooms without any notice from him/from the menu. It was $30 for such a small dish (I was still hungry after that and went somewhere else to eat). In a city like NY which has so many gluten free options I wouldn’t compromise on this place.
