Review of River House

Went a week and a half ago. Lots of GF options and knowledgeable waitress and manager. However, there was a miscommunication between the waitress, kitchen, and food runner, and I was served a lobster roll on a regular bun. I double checked after receiving it because the bun was suspicious but was reassured that it was allergy friendly. I stupidly took it at face value, took a huge bite, and was immediately stopped by the food runner telling me that it was in fact a regular bun I had been served. Everyone was incredibly accommodating after, and the manager comped my meal, but all in all it really sucked and I ended up getting sick the next day (still feeling ill now, a week plus later). It’s cool that the fryer is dedicated though!
