Unsure about the safety but the waiter was not the most informed. I’m gluten and lactose intolerant so it is partially my fault for picking Mexican but there is vegan cheese options as well, but they didn’t seem to pair with the gluten free options very well. Overall will try again, just need to do more research beforehand.

I eat here every time I’m in town. Never had a reaction. So much of the menu is GF. Always a risk when the kitchen isn’t dedicated so docked a star for safety.

Ordered the GF chicken nachos. When the nachos came out, the chips looked like deep fried flour tortillas. We were reassured by our server and the manager that they were GF chips. One allergic reaction (wheat) and much sickness later (celiac), we can confirm the chips were not gluten free. Second time we've been wrongly served here recently. Eat at your own risk.

Love this place! So far it is the one place in Omaha where I don’t feel so limited in what I can order. I actually feel normal here. The waitress assured me that their chips are fried in a separate fryer and they have a ton of gluten free options. Their chicken enchiladas with queso are delicious! Love it here!

With guidance from the waiter and chef, I ordered an “off menu” rice bowl” with shredded chicken, black beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomato. It was delicious! Great service and great food!

My go-to, Celiac friendly Mexican Restaurant in Omaha. They have a dedicated fryer for their corn chips and fried corn taco shells and tostada shells. All of the other fried items are made in a separate fryer away from the chip/corn shell fryer. I've never been glutened here and I eat here almost every week since I found out I needed to be gluten free, CELIAC safe. They have a separate gluten free menu, and many vegan options, their vegan taco "meat" is also gluten free, the vegan green chili chick'n is not gluten free and neither are the vegan shrimp, black beans are gluten free, refried beans are not, but the Mexican rice is gluten free, andgreat. Sunday is Happy Hour all day, so that's great. Yay, a Mexican Restaurant where I can eat the chips and salsa and have crispy vegan gf tacos!
