Amazing experience here! Both me and my friend have to eat gluten free (my friend has celiac) and we both enjoyed the delicious gf penne with arriabiata sauce and spicy sausage and also pasta Milano with a garlic cream based sauce. Neither of us got sick, we were treated so kindly, and both had delicious entrees! Yummy yummy!!!
they went out of their way to provide a safe gluten free meal. I have celiac and I did not get sick :). I love that basically the menu with some minor exceptions can be made gluten free. the manager kept checking to make sure everything was ok. they cooked the meal in separate water and too extra precautions. I highly reccomend the restaurant. they have kid friendly options as well.
Yes
The Macaroni Grill no longer has an actual GF menu. Instead they have the manager come over and talk to you about your options because “the servers don’t always know what contains gluten.” I don’t mind that, but I would still like to be able to look at a physical GF menu. I appreciated everyone’s effort in making sure my dietary needs were met. I had the GF penne in a creamy garlic sauce. The food wasn’t bad, but I didn’t find it very impressive either.
I had the GF Mac and cheese. The portion was huge but the sauce didn't have much flavor. There was a large GF menu, you could make your own pasta dishes for instance.
The food was great, the staff was knowledgeable about what food was gluten free (all penne). They were very accommodating. The gluten free pasta serving size is 1/4 the size of the normal pasta serving size for the same price.

Unfortunately they were out of gluten free pasta and other options are very limited especially for a picky eater who just wanted Mac and cheese.

Currently they do not have GF pasta options. However staff were knowledgeable about GF & cross contamination. The caesar salad w/out croutons, with chicken or shrimp is very good. Grilled salmon with side of spinach instead or orzo a good option as well. The service was excellent.

As of 7/21/22, they did not have gluten free pasta as an option. Although the macaroni grill website appears to show gluten free pasta available, this location said they didn’t have any and offered no explanation.

Their menu has zero gluten free substitutes/options. I asked our server for gluten free options and she ended up bringing me an allergy menu after we asked multiple times. When I ordered my dish she just seemed very bothered by the fact that I had an allergy and she had to deal with it. Granted I know it’s a pasta establishment but still. I ended up ordering the create your own pasta with the pomodorino sauce, their gluten free pasta, and some chicken and spinach. It was pretty good, it’s just the service and attitude that was subpar.
