Review of Ron's Original Bar & Grille

Four stars due to a horrible customer service experience once. I've eaten at Ron's numerous times and never had a reaction. I haven't gotten as adventurous to try any of the sandwiches yet as I'm not sure how they prepare them. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and add gluten free toothpicks to denote that they are indeed gluten free. Recently I had an issue with one of the women who was checking me out for a take out order. I asked to verify that my salad was indeed prepped gluten free and she gave me a ton of attitude because she did not want to check and told me well obviously it's gluten free, it's a salad. That sort of ignorance toward gluten free prepared moods is what scares me. I spoke with a manager on the phone who just said he would speak with here, no offering of an apology or anything. I'm so sad over this because I've always been treated with such respect and kindness from them staff regarding my gluten free needs. It definitely making me think twice now before I go back again, and Ron's was always my go to place to eat out
