I've eaten here several times without issue. They have a huge menu and many gf options. Dedicated gf fryer so that's very exciting. Try the arancini, you won't regret it: )
Amazing food!! They can make pretty much anything on the menu gluten free (they have over 300 options) I got the nachos as an appetizer which was so delicious! As well as the chicken nuggets which I was so surprised that they had! To top it all of I had an amazing gluten free peanut butter cheesecake. Can’t recommend this place enough!! Staff is extremely knowledgeable as well.
Great food, knowledgeable staff. Large GF selection. Dedicated GF fryer. The chocolate pot dessert is amazing.
We are regulars at Ron’s, but have noticed that our celiac daughter seems bothered by the GF pizza and hot GF sandwiches here, because the oven and the grill is shared. I asked if they could make her a GF grilled cheese in tin foil to avoid any gluten from the grill and they very rudely said they do not make special orders and cannot guarantee that their food is fully GF because “there’s flour everywhere. It’s a shared kitchen”. This annoys me on several levels - the rudeness, the lack of concern for providing great customer service, but most importantly that they heavily promote their fact GF options when in fact they make no effort to avoid cross contamination.
Best gluten free pizza. Home made and fantastic
The waiter was knowledgeable for my gf needs. I wanted a hamburger & fries. Everything was gf and they have a special bakery that makes there rolls. The menu had special makers for dietary needs.
Diverse gluten free menu... I was impressed!
Four stars due to a horrible customer service experience once. I've eaten at Ron's numerous times and never had a reaction. I haven't gotten as adventurous to try any of the sandwiches yet as I'm not sure how they prepare them. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and add gluten free toothpicks to denote that they are indeed gluten free. Recently I had an issue with one of the women who was checking me out for a take out order. I asked to verify that my salad was indeed prepped gluten free and she gave me a ton of attitude because she did not want to check and told me well obviously it's gluten free, it's a salad. That sort of ignorance toward gluten free prepared moods is what scares me. I spoke with a manager on the phone who just said he would speak with here, no offering of an apology or anything. I'm so sad over this because I've always been treated with such respect and kindness from them staff regarding my gluten free needs. It definitely making me think twice now before I go back again, and Ron's was always my go to place to eat out
Great selection of food clearly labeled gf
Great selection and gf bread is full of flavor (so hard to find!!)
Had amazing GF pasta with meatballs and bolognese sauce as well as gluten free cheesecake
Great selection of foods
We've been several times and live the food. I actually met Ron, he has family members who have celiac, close ones so I'm sure he understands. Maybe the waiters in question put the orders in wrong or the cooks didn't read carefully.
I have lived near Ron's for 2 years and didn't know they had such an extensive GF menu. While their entrees can be pricey, I tried one of their GF Ovals and was amazed at how good it was. I have a gluten allergy but not Celiac and I did not get sick. My favorite Oval is the Sorrento but instead of Cheddar I request Ricotta cheese..trust me, it's amazing!
I had eaten many times, always the pizza or ovals, and never got sick. However, I ate an entree marked at gluten free and was sick 2 1/2 hours later for many hours. Will not go back. Sorry. So disappointed!
I ate GF items off the menu and I was sick before even leaving the restaurant. Yes many options but not necessarily safe.
if you have celiac DO NOT EAT HERE, they are NOT gluten free! It is true there are many options labeled "Gluten Free" on their menu and the ingredients may be gluten free to start but Ron's isn't any different than the faux advertisement that Dominoes pizza had last year. The server told me it depended on my degree of allergy if I could eat there. Seriously?! Ron's is about as clueless and dangerous as a restaurant can be . When I spoke to the manager he said celiac was a whole different issue. more proof they are clueless, you cannot advertise as gluten free and intend to exclude celiacs. Ron's should remove their "gluten free" designation on their menu or learn to serve that same food out of the kitchen they way it is advertised. Shame on you Ron. Actually Ron, it was your manager and your server. And as far as not taking a server seriously and their statements as fact? Hmmm, isn't the server selling the product? More so Ron, shame on you.
Unfortunately, Terry B is mistaken. Ron's does have a dedicated gluten free fryer and take other precautions to accomodate their gluten free guests. Just because a server makes a mistatement it shouldn't be taken as fact. You'd be hard pressed to find a restaurant that has more gluten free options.
Yum! Lots of options. They do disclaim on the menu that they are not dedicated gf but if that is ok for you their options are many! Among gf options they also offer a healthier menu in general (avoiding preservatives like mag and hfcs etc) so kudos to Ron's! We had gf ovals and they were very very good!
Good food and options on the menu.
