Have been here a few times (I have celiac) and have never gotten sick, the food and staff are amazing! Have had the family style fried chicken dinner and the shrimp and grits- cannot rave enough about how good both things were. The biscuits are a must, they take longer to cook the GF ones fresh but it’s worth the wait! Will definitely continue going back!

I was with a group of friends and we ordered collectively for the table. We ordered exclusively things marked gluten free, including the farmers pie. In their defense, the description did have the word “barley” in it but it was marked as gluten free, NOT gluten free available, so we didn’t bother reading the full description, but of course we ate some barley and got very sick. Would’ve been fine with this, they accidentally mislabeled but we still should’ve caught it, but after we politely pointed it out to the waitress and asked them to change the label on the menu for the future, she went and started loudly talking smack to the hostess about us. The food was delicious though.

Not celiac friendly. They do NOT have a dedicated fryer - this is stated at the bottom of their menu in tiny disclaimer text. As I was unable to order the fried chicken because it is fried in shared oil and they have no workaround, the waiter was very accommodating and made suggestions that would work for me. They were out of the short rib for the evening so I had the meatloaf, which was very good and came with some green beans and a side of potatoes gratin, but I am DF and didn’t realize until it was served. My waiter was accommodating and promptly offered to have the kitchen prepare some extra green beans for me. Enjoyed my meal, but not rushing back...

Plenty of gluten free options. The gluten free biscuits were delicious, although they take about 45 minutes, so order them right away.

Really outstanding food. We had deviled eggs, a fabulous salad and the best shrimp and grits ever. They make GF versions of their biscuits and fried chicken, but they take longer to make. They suggest calling ahead for those items. Full bar, too! Great spot.

I went to this place when it first opened before I was celiac. I haven’t been back in 5 years. My friend really wanted to try it so I figured I would go and just eat a salad. When I looked up the menu I was shocked to find gf fried chicken, gf biscuits and so much more! Got the chicken and biscuits and they were amazing. Everything on the menu is labeled and staff was knowledgeable. They have a dedicated fryer too!
