Review of Roots Cafe

According to them, everything is gluten free, so I'm not understanding their explanation of separate prep. The front of the menu says, "Lots of gluten free choices", but nothing on the menu is marked gluten free, indicating to me they want to hide the fact from "regular" eaters. I was told "everything here is gluten free".

Their "crepe" is actually an omelet, into which you can choose inclusions. So why call it a crepe?? Doublespeak again! Mine was plopped onto a fancy plastic plate with no garnish, nothing. And $9. The chocolate chip cookies were good. My companion reported the soup very good but this was her 3rd visit and she didn't plan on coming back just for soup. It just wasn't that good. And I can't comment on Celiac friendly.
