The waitress was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what happens in the kitchen. My wife is hypersensitive to cross contamination. We had the chips and salsa. The waitress explained the chips are fried in a different fryer. It was the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Definitely will be revisiting.

Wonderful place to eat. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.

Nice gluten free menu very welcoming
They accidentally gave me a flour tortilla quesadilla instead of corn. Luckily, I noticed before eating and they made me a gluten-free one. While this was a stressful experience and made me lose some confidence, I did not get sick from the chips/guacamole or the quesadilla after. Just be care and triple-check with them if you need to! I asked twice when I ordered if the quesadilla would be made gluten-free.

Staff a little harried but the food was very good. Many gluten free choices!

Celiac safe! Staff very knowledgeable. Most items are gf. Everything was delicious!

My wife and I went here tonight for dinner. It was meh! The food wasn’t great (good enough) but nothing special. Food was pretty bland and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I had 3 enchiladas (I’m celiac), my wife had the Budin, and we shared the chips/salsa/guacamole. The guacamole was very tasty but could’ve been spicer. Ordered medium (for my wife) but didn’t have any kick unfortunately. The guacamole was the highlight of the food. Now keep in mind the guacamole was $16, which is over the top for price.
Personally, out of the meals we have had during the past 3 days this the our least favorite.
On a side note I have celiac and I DIDN’T get sick. So the food is safe but just not very tasty.
Yes
We went there for lunch with our two daughters (both celiac). The gluten-free meals were mentioned on the menu. We enjoyed the food and the girls stood healthy. A bit pricy, but still ok.

Highly recommend! They had a lot to choose from as well as dessert. Staff was very knowledgeable

Chips are made in a dedicated fryer! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and could tell me which drinks I should stay away from. Their food is made out of fresh ingredients and they offer most of the menu as gluten free. It’s also delicious!

The food was great, but the service wasn’t the best. We had to ask for refills a couple of times. The restaurant should really be $$$, not $$ for costs. Overall ok, not sure I will come back.

The food was great. My server was really confused about what is gluten free. It ended up being ok but was just a little more stress than necessary.

Love love love this place. sad the one in mn shut down. had the chips and salsa and guac and then some chicken meal that was baked with 3 layers of corn tortillas. and the margaritas are amazing! I have celiac.

very specifically asked if the tortilla chips (listed as gluten free on the menu) were fried with other items. Was very clearly told no, it's 100% safe, by the server but here I am with hives and a migraine.

Awesome. i left feeling ill because of how much I ate. . It was all too good! The mild guacamole, made at the table, was perfect. . Our son had GF taquitos. . He loved the guacamole, rice, and beans. We went back to DC this year and had enchiladas and what the manager referred to as Mexican lasagna (chicken, corn tortillas, and cheese layers). Stuffed ourselves again. Only complaint is that there isn't one in our home town.
I had a really great experience here. There's a dedicated GF menu with lots of options. I ordered the suizas enchiladas with a glass of sangria and it was delicious. My husband (who can eat all the gluten!) wasn't impressed with his chicken nachos that were a little burnt but he really liked what I ordered. It was a little pricier than what we planned to spend on vacation for lunch but it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind and tasty Mexican food.

You are treated like a real person here and actually asked if you need a gluten free menu before you sit down! Food is excellent and servers are wonderful!

This was absolutely fabulous! Wonderful gluten free menu!
Excellent good & large GF menu.
Excellent food, extensive GF menu. Enchiladas and fish tacos were excellent, and so was the tableside-prepared guacamole. Very good margaritas and palomas. Absolutely no adverse reaction for my Celiac wife and daughter. Great experience!

This is my go to Mexican restaurant, the chips are in a dedicated fryer and the staff is very knowledgeable on the menu. The margaritas are delicious too!

Amazing Mexican food, wow! I'm highly allergic to gluten. They provide designated gluten-free menu and provided great options. Price is reasonable and I enjoyed it very, very much!

Food was fantastic! Chips were gluten free! I asked a few times and they reassured me they are fried in a separate fryer. I had the fish tacos and they were phenomenal. They have a separate gluten free menu that has many choices on it. If you're in the DC area and looking for a great lunch or dinner, this is a must eat at place! Enjoy!
GF menu, knowledgable. Great environment. Highly recommend.

I was here about a month ago and I got really sick for 4 days because of this place. However I don't think I asked for a gluten free menu since we went for happy hour, and I thought the corn chips and guacamole would be fine. I am dairy free too so my choices are even more limited. It's because of how sick I got here that I am now very picky where I eat. Maybe down the road I will give this place another chance but not any time soon.

Fantastic. Servers are always prepared to discuss gluten free options and will go out of their way to make sure the food you are served is gluten free.

Very accommodating to those with celiac. Made a special batch of chips and was very aware of the need to avoid cross contamination. Food was fantastic!
Celiac-friendly, with the holy grail of gluten free chips and salsa. A fairly extensive menu is available, and it's basically impossible to leave the restaurant without a full belly! Love the duck and the enchiladas.

We had an amazing experience. We ate gluten free without fear. Our waiter, Rodger, took the time to speak to the chef and ensure all foods that we ordered were gluten free down to the chips, salsa & guac. Highly recommend for those with Celiac & gluten sensitive issues. Thank you!!!!

Had a great lunch. I could eat the chips and salsa served to the table and ended up with chicken enchiladas. The waiter didn't seem to bothered or interested by my allergy, but everything was still great.
My family loved it! It was difficult for me because I have additional food intolerances. They were accommodating but, there was not much for me. The guacamole is awesome and, I wish I would have just ordered more of that.
No
Very tasty food, except the guacamole the asked me how spicy and I asked for medium, but it was more like none...plus expensive compared to the cost of ingredients. Crab empanadas are not gluten free!
Great gluten free menu. Crab empanadas! Service is great also
Great food, great service! Extensive GF menu, and was marked with stickers to make sure the servers identified it as a special menu. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and talked all about what they do to avoid cross-contamination. The tableside guacamole is a MUST!
Yes
Great menu items! Double check when your order arrives that it was prepared gluten free. On more than one occasion I've had to sen food back because accommodations weren't made or were forgotten eg fried onions on a taco even though I ordered from the GF menu. They are great at taking food back to double check though!
Delicious tacos from GF menu- 2 small tacos. Would go again. Waitress told me the chips had possible cross contaminated. Too bad.
Really interesting and delicious gf veggie tacos that featured figs and jicama. Quite a few gf options on menu. Great margaritas too!
Everything we had was top tier delicious. I'm a sensitive celiac and didn't get sick. Highly recommended

I am a regular here and have never had any issues! Go enough and you may get some freebies! 😏
Read the reviews & it started out as a great experience. Server confirmed they could do gf, have a separate deep fryer and understood the severity of celiac.
Until they delivered the tacos with a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla listed.
Took one bite and knew something was wrong.
Wait staff tried to say I ordered the wrong item despite verifying multiple times that it would be gluten free.
Wouldn’t recommend.

So many GF options all over the menu!! Be sure to get the GUACAMOLE EN MOLCAJETE. It's made tableside. The pink chips (and salsa) are GF. I enjoyed the QUESO FUNDIDO (to die for!), CHICKEN SUIZAS (enchiladas), rice and black refried beans. The server communicated with the cook about my allergy and took it very seriously.
