GF items marked on menu. Waiter somewhat knowledgeable. They did however mess up our drink order and 2/4 of our dinner orders. Everyone else had finished their meal before I got mine, so I ended using cancelling it. There were 4 of us and we ordered the nachos, we each got 2 chips. The nachos were not labeled as GF, but the waiter said he would ask and have them put any of the toppings that had gluten on the side. When it was delivered the food pusher said that everything about the nachos was gluten free. I did have the nachos and so far feel OK. Overall pretty good with the GF stuff, but in general poor service and the food was fair to good. Small portions. I would not go back.

We ate outside on the patio. The guacamole in mortar and pestle was amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and it was awesome that they had a dedicated fryer. It felt a little generic, but the ambience at least outside was awesome.

We specifically went to Rosa Mexicana because of this site. We researched places to eat, looked at the menu and were looking forward to eating there. We were in Boston from Philadelphia and sat down after the drive. We ordered all the things we wanted to try. Unfortunately the waitress came to tell us that the plantains were not fried in the designated fryer. The waitress had marked the plantains as wheat allergy and the kitchen did not adhere to the ticket. My daughter, who has celiac, had already eaten two of them. The waitress told me not to freak out and the manager was dismissive. I can’t tell you how disappointed were are. I give this restaurant a zero.

I loved my experience here! I went because I was in the area and saw all the other great reviews of this place on this app and it lived up to the expectations. So many gf options, I had chips and salsa as well as tortilla soup and a frozen margarita. I have celiac and I had no issues at all of any kind and the server made it clear that they understood I was gluten free. Great place!! Will probably return!

Great GF tacos. Very knowledgeable about GF.
Yes
Excellent food and service. The chips and salsa are gf,band there are several gf options on the menu, including brunch. My husband had the mole enchiladas which sadly were not gf. He said it was the best mole he's had in the US.
GF chips! Spicy guacamole, yummy tequila drinks.

This is definitely one to remember if I ever go back to Boston. The chips and salsa given to the table are gluten free, as well as a number of entrees. I got the enchiladas Suizas which although a little spicy, I really liked and I devoured. Also recommend the hibiscus iced tea which I really liked

VERY good! They were careful about celiac and took it seriously. Drinks are great too. Worth the price.

Great GF enchiladas! So rare to have these at a restaurant.

There are several gluten free options ! The salsa is outstanding! The service however is immature! They have a lot to learn about keeping the dinning room peaceful and the customers first! Our sever was very distracted by her back of the house chores! The wait staff was busy playing and being loud even when addressed. Be prepared for a loud environment!
Regular menu has gluten free notation, lots of gluten free items including enchiladas, everything we ordered was delicious!
Loved this place! To be able to eat the fresh-out-of-the-GF-fryer tortilla chips with the best guacamole I've ever had just made my day! Our server, Derek, was GREAT! Clearly, they "get it!"
Yes
Delicious and menu easily labeled. Nice size dishes. Plenty of food!
Yes
Amazing yummy food and drinks. Large selection of GF items. Nice and knowledgeable staff.
When I see fish tacos on a gluten free menu, I get VERY excited. What I got was very sad. The fish was completely unseasoned. Absolutely nothing on it. As the waitress put my dish down she said, oh the sauce isn't gluten free. There was no mention of this beforehand. The guacamole is phenomenal though.
Outstanding upscale Mexican fare with a kitchen that uses little or no flour in their meals. The fish tacos were made with fresh fish pieces that lived up to a seaport venue. Friendly service and nice outside patio and lounge.

Great food and service. Clear menu and staff knowledgeable.

Really tasty food & huge portions, server at the bar was awesome and knowledgable.
Yes
Good, but sure it completely depends upon who is your server. Very loud and easy to have misunderstandings.
Someone mentioned that there is no wheat on the premises. Pretty sure that is not true. But there are a lot of portions and the fryer is dedicated for the corn chips.

This place actually has NO WHEAT FLOUR on restaurant grounds!! The gluten free menu is expansive and the chips are gluten free!! The service was pretty good and the food was authentic Mexican. This place is a gem! I'll definitely be back!!
It was great. I went there for diner before a show at the pavilion. They have a dedicated fryer and a large gluten free menu. Our waiter Chris was great and very helpful!

STAY AWAY! Went with some friends after attending an event at the convention center. We were very excited because it was right across the street. The gluten free menu appeared to have many options, however the wait staff and kitchen are terrible. I have never been so sick in my life, it was THE WORST Glutening experience in my life. I have Celiac Disease and disclosed this to the waitress & host. When my food came out I questioned the tortillas since they look like regular ones and tasted like regular ones. I was assured they were not. Well clearly they were. I got sick on the T and the car ride home and spent the rest of the evening/ next day sick. When I called to inform them about their mistake no one even apologized. This place is a joke and NOT GLUTEN FREE!
No
Waiter had trouble understanding the concept of gluten free despite our choosing the destination due to GF menu. My enchilada was tasty but lonely in a huge pool of sauce- exceedingly skimpy meal for the price. I will never go back.
No
Big GF menu, but I never got a clear answer as to whether chips were made in a dedicated fryer. I ordered the empanadas as an appetizer and they were greasy but tasty. I also ordered the duck tacos which were just okay. I did eat some chips as nachos were in the GF menu, but I was disappointed by how cold and slightly stale the chips were. Staff knowledge about GF was about average.
Yes
Excellent table side guacamole
Everything we had was top tier delicious. I'm a sensitive celiac and didn't get sick. Highly recommended

I am a regular here and have never had any issues! Go enough and you may get some freebies! 😏
Read the reviews & it started out as a great experience. Server confirmed they could do gf, have a separate deep fryer and understood the severity of celiac.
Until they delivered the tacos with a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla listed.
Took one bite and knew something was wrong.
Wait staff tried to say I ordered the wrong item despite verifying multiple times that it would be gluten free.
Wouldn’t recommend.

So many GF options all over the menu!! Be sure to get the GUACAMOLE EN MOLCAJETE. It's made tableside. The pink chips (and salsa) are GF. I enjoyed the QUESO FUNDIDO (to die for!), CHICKEN SUIZAS (enchiladas), rice and black refried beans. The server communicated with the cook about my allergy and took it very seriously.
