Gluten free pizza is no longer available. I tried calling before and there was no response. Wish we hadn’t wasted time walking here.
Staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, I noticed the signs for GF pizza crust so we decided to check it out. They have 1 size (small), which is bigger than their personal size. I’m celiac and have had over 250 GF pizzas. This was the best GF pizza crust I’ve ever had (it’s thick like a garlic bread pizza crust). Easily could have fed 2 people. Very delicious and filling. Best part, I didn’t get sick. Decent value for the Hilton Hawaiian village (still about 75% more than you’d pay on the mainland).
I ordered a regular pizza for my partner and a gluten free pizza for myself through the website because their advertising made me think it was a good place to check out for a gf pizza. I arrived and was told they didn’t have gluten free dough. I honestly wouldn’t trust this place even if they do start carrying gluten free dough, just based on what I saw inside the restaurant.
We have eaten here a couple times since Celiac diagnosis. First experience seemed fine, the manager himself said he was knowledgeable and would bake the pizza safely on own tray, etc. Our second visit the girl that took our order lacked knowledge—I have a feeling the gluten caution was not taken seriously during baking process. I asked for it on its own pan, etc. my guess is possibly the pizza cutter was contaminated, or toppings… my son became symptomatic not long after consuming it. So so sad!
