Review of Rumi's Passion

Wow! a GF bakery in Plymouth! Michigan has changed a lot since I was last here.

This store has an enormous selection for celiacs, and a small selection of vegan options. We were able to get focaccia rolls, chocolate muffins (which were really just unfrosted cupcakes), a Rosemary olive bread loaf, and soft pretzel sticks. The pretzel sticks and focaccia rolls were to die for! Haven't tried the loaf yet, but I appreciate that they pulled it from the freezer for us when we were telling them we were only passing through while traveling, and couldn't come back for fresh vegan bread days.

Really nice people and really affordable. There's a few packaged items for sale, plus self-serve coffee.

Their flour blend is white rice and tapioca, so be warned if you're rice-sensitive or concerned about carbs and blood sugar.

I haven't had a soft pretzel in years, and this was well worth it. (If you take them home, microwave them for a few seconds and dip them in mustard for that NYC street pretzel experience!)
