Mark (our server) was great. Cautious and friendly. They had a separate GF menu with lots of options—all adaptations of “real” menu items. So nice to have maki rolls, sauces, and fries!!! Delicious and safe for a highly sensitive celiac. Also really nice to have table sharing options for all.

Went back recently and the tuna sushi on the happy hour is no longer gluten free as it is pre marinated. The veggy rolls are gluten free and the rosemary frites as well

So I came here two weeks ago, best place ever with the best service. GF options and the server was very intelligent of my disease. I came back today (1/4/23) and they are now up charging for most sushi rolls. If the roll has Crab or Krab in it, it contains gluten (because the Crab given has half crab half krab). So their new rule is, is a $6 up charge for full crab! Only half real crab additional but $6. For a disease! I find this ridiculous and absolutely pisses me off. Taking my star down a notch for sure.

What a Greta experience! I emailed the restaurant before to talk to someone to ensure I felt comfortable. I got a call back within a few hours from Greg, thankfully, as his MIL happens to be GF so he "gets it." He assured me of all the precautions they take to ensure anything that is ordered GF isn't cross contaminated.
My date and I ordered the Wok Seared Edamame, Rosemary Frittes, a Thai Tuna roll, and a Veggie Roll. Everything was delicious and had little bamboo flags to indicate the order was GF.
I haven't eaten in a non-dedicated GF restaurant in about 10 years (got got last time and it was a "5*" restaurant in Vegas who swore up and down they would keep me safe so I didn't trust anyone after that) and was a little nervous. But GF and people's understanding have come a long way in the last decade so I took a chance. I'm glad I did! S3 did a great job making me feel safe. Our server was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and came to check on us often.

Great meal! Staff is very knowledgeable about what items were GF. However, they did double check everything with the chef which happens to have celiac. They took GF very seriously which made me feel wonderful. Their fries are GF!!! Separate fryer!

Super accommodating restaurant and delicious. I was craving some sushi but all their rolls have tempura/sauce. They ended up making me some super simple salmon, tuna, and yellowtail rolls. They do have GF soy sauce. Not sure about their non-sushi menu/kitchen preparation for GF food.

Loved my experience at S3. One of the managers, Greg, was able to provide detailed information regarding GF food options, and confirmed that the kitchen is fully capable and experienced handing cross contamination. The sushi, which I've been afraid to try since my dx 3 years ago, was fresh and delicious, and presented on a different plate from others in my party who chose gluten items. Service was top notch, and we had the best table on the patio with a gorgeous view. For dessert, they had a Panna cotta that was perfect. Highly recommend for a nice night out. I hope I get to go again soon!

Was somewhat nervous given the fact that there is no dedicated GF menu but the staff could not have been more helpful! It was a super busy night and I asked the waitress if anything was on the menu was gluten free. She proceeded to use her pen and then check everything I could eat on the menu (which I would say was about half of everything on there). Almost all of the sushi could be made gluten free. She also said the chef has a gluten allergy and they take allergies very seriously, which made me feel better. I ordered the dragon and the salmon kamikaze. She came out with a separate GF soy sauce. When my food came out it was on a different type of plate than my girlfriends to signify my modified order. My waitress then came to verify again that everything was GF before I ate. Tempura shrimp was broiled shrimp, made sure spicy Mayo wasn’t on it (not GF) etc. The food was delicious and I did not get sick. I have celiac (extremely sensitive) and I would 100% recommend this to anyone with a gluten allergy.

Not sure why this place has so many 5 stars for GF. No dedicated gluten free menu and our waitress had no clue what was gluten free, everyone on here saying certain they ordered certain things but she told us they were not gluten free. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to celiacs.

The wait staff here was SUPER knowledgeable about their GF offerings which were all super delicious and he was so friendly and positive about all my needs as I also have a dairy allergy. The most positive dining experience of my life! He even brought out a gluten and dairy free dessert that was no where on the menu as it was my birthday. Loved it here!

Natalie was our waitress and was very well versed in the gluten free options on the menu. We had a delicious dinner with fries from a dedicated fryer, shrimp, steak, and edamame. Staff was gluten free educated. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer. Exceptional lunch! The Wok Charred Edamame were amazing and made gluten free with Tamari. They were more then willing to adjust the recipes to make it gluten free. We got Grilled Octopus, burger with fries, and Bavette Steak they were all delicious and perfectly. We have a gluten detection service dog and he “all cleared” the food (usually good to 5ppm). We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!!
