2024 opening weekend. Going off other people’s reviews I steered clear of the hot dog and hamburger. I grabbed one of the pre-packaged salads (The Italian) and confirmed It did not have any wheat ingredients in it. It wasn’t labeled gf and had a shared facility warning calling out nuts and other allergens. Immediately after finishing I immediately felt a reaction.
Back in 2019 it felt like Mariner’s took allergens seriously. They closed Grounders with the dedicated fryer. Just bring your own food to the ballpark. I talked to the manager at Guest relations and she said especially if it is allergy related, you can bring in outside food. Just make sure it is portioned into single servings and in a clear container. So one could make their own sandwich at home put it in a zip lock and bring it in, for example. I would imagine a clear Tupperware would work too. If you get push back with security, you can ask for a supervisor.

Stay far far away!
I stupidly didn't read the reviews here before getting excited about GF hot dog in the park. I didn't take a single regular precaution as a strict celiac 😬 I asked for the GF hotdog and it was already in a package when they handed it to me. I thought it looked, then tasted not that good and seemed different then my friends so I thought to be GF. About 1 hour later back at my hotel I got violently ill, throwing up 5x and bursting blood vessels in my face around my eyes. Never in 5 years since my diagnosis has something I ate made me throw up - and I've definitely gotten cross contaminated before.
After reading back these reviews and looking at the photo of my hot dog, I believe I may have gotten a gluten bun. I think since I threw up so quickly I also bounced back quickly once I stopped puking. The burst blood vessels however took about 3/4 days to clear up on my face.
You've been warned!

We seek this place out. For healthy portions it's great. I do wish they carried the following:
* French fries and/or sweet potato fries (for one vegan-burger with fries concession trip).
* organic sulfite free red wine

So bad. I’ve had a few struggles here, and have to watch really closely because they don’t seem to understand how GF works. First time, the woman gave me a regular bun. Had to ask her for fresh gloves and tongs. Today, the young woman giving out onions and tomatoes and toppings could be seen in the back, on her phone, eating with gloves on. She came back, grabbed a napkin and wiped her nose and mouth. She came over and I asked for onions. She reached in and grabbed them with the same gloves on. I asked “Don’t you use tongs???” She said yeah, rolled her eyes and started to grab the tongs. But, her nasty gloves were already on those onions, so I walked away. Oh, and my bun turned out to be still frozen. Pretty disappointing from the only GF place in the stadium.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the products. They even pulled out the ingredient list so we could check other allergies. We had the impossible hot dog on a GF bun and it was very good.

Could not comprehend I wanted a GF hot dog and no bun. The dog they gave me had JUST been tossed in the boiler about 30 seconds prior. Very disorganized and I do not trust their food products whatsoever.

Thought vegan and gluten free were the same thing and tried to convince me otherwise when I said that was wrong lol!

Decided to try it despite the bad reviews. No one there actually knew what they were doing, I ordered the "gluten friendly" hot dog, and when I repeated myself he said he knew. Then he tried to hand me a vegan hot dog on a regular bun, and I said "that's real bread" and he was like "vegan" and I said "no, gluten free" and he was like "ask her". And she didn't know either, and ended up grabbing a gf hamburger bun, removing the hamburger and adding a vegan hot dog (when I wanted regular) 😭 well my husband ate it, because obviously I watched them use the same tongs and by this point I trusted no one.

They now have salad options from Evergreens that don't contain any gluten, so they do have some safe choices. It's $13 for a salad, and $9 for a hamburger, which is always annoying, but the salad is great, and I'm glad that there are finally some gf AND vegetarian options at this stand. Service is fine, no complaints.

After the bad reviews I was nervous but had no reaction! They changed gloves, they keep the gf buns separate. The cashier didn’t really understand gf vs vegan or if there could be gluten in a hot dog. But no issues, and I’m super sensitive. Hot dog was ok.

I got severely ill after consuming the gluten free hot dog. I clarified with multiple people at the stand ensuring it was gluten free, but I’m pretty sure they used a normal bun instead of gluten free.

So disappointed. Order gf Mariners dog. They yelled an order for a vegan dog- not gf. When I corrected them they rolled their eyes. Hot dog served on a cold stale gf burger bun.

The items listed as gluten free like salads, fruit cups, veggie and cheese trays and turkey sandwiches were all labeled made in a facility that processes gluten. Really?! Not Celiac friendly. So disappointed. Popcorn-for dinner.
I had high hopes
I suffered a severe reaction and night of misery after eating at The Natural at Saturday 7/20/19. It was the only place I ate.
While the food is credibly gluten free the potential for cross contamination in the handling and cooking is a clear and present danger to celiac sufferers.
I would advise those with celiac disease to not take the risk

Good large juicy beef hotdog, on a Gluten free roll(tasted like Franz) would have tasted better with udi’s . They had hard cider in the can but the beer on tap was no longer Ghostfish, as it seems they rotated out to another beer. There were a couple of other places that had a gf hamburger bun, and some gf beer in the can. Unfortunately the stadium needs to either create a digital map for the ph, or they could just put up a durian board with a map like the airport because all the vendors we asked didn’t know where to find gf beer😔. We finally were pointed to a stadium employee and she was able to help us a little. So we suggested an app or a sign with a Map. I say if Disney and the airport can do it, so can the stadium.
Thankful to be able to get something from the field today. I got the gf hotdog (and bun) and I was pleased to see it was really good sized. I was afraid it’d be pretty tiny. My husband got a meat and cheese tray. It had crackers, but they were sealed in wrappers, so he just ate around them (meat, cheese, grapes). I was also happy to find sparkling water and kombucha drink options!
Limited beer options but great tasting beer. Nothing goes better with baseball than a beer and a hotdog. They offer only gluten free items-beer, hotdogs w/buns, sandwiches, fruit bowls and salad.
Limited food options included fruit cup for $6, hummus and veggies for $8, and gluten free hot dog for $8.
Gluten free beer was good (Ghostfish on tap) but non-gf rolls were being warmed on top of the hot dogs, which are sold in a gf option.

Yesterday (Aug. 22,2015) after searching every corner of Safeco Fields concession area for anything Gluten and Dairy Free to eat I found myself at The Natural. Considering that it is the only place for people with food allergies it didn't appear to be a safe environment for someone with Celiac. Wheat containing foods were also prepared on the premises and I'm not sure if there is a dedicated cookers and food handlers to protect from cross contamination. They should post the ingredients of the prepared foods. The ingredient labels could be made available in the order area.

I'm glad there are gf options, but I was disappointed by this place. I did not feel like the staff had good knowledge of food allergies. I ordered a caprese salad, which was in the case next to a shrimp pasta salad. I asked about cross contamination between the two, since I am allergic to shellfish (I also do not think that shrimp pasta salad was gluten free). The lady assured me that they are kept separate and that it would be safe. She then proceeded to use the SAME TONGS that she used on the shrimp salad to serve up my caprese salad. She did rinse them off, but the mayo from the shrimp salad was still all over the tongs. To top that off--I purchased a packaged rice krispy cookie from this stand. I glanced at the allergen statements and it didn't mention wheat or gluten. When I got to my seat, I read it more carefully, and it contained barley malt, which contains GLUTEN. For a stand that caters to gluten-free eaters, they *should not* carry desserts with gluten. At the very least, it should've been clearly labeled.

Sandwich was dry. No condiments. No hotdogs. Coors Peak on draft was flat but she gave me a bottle. Came on a Tuesday maybe the selection is better on the weekend. Wish they could make garlic Parmesan fries gf. How hard is it to get one dedicated gf fryer?
Yes
Great GF options including hotdogs and sandwiches. They also have Coors Peak GF beer, Omission and Hard Cider.
Yes
We were at the home opener today and was informed by the women at The Natural stand that the only thing gluten free was the hummus and vegetable packs. They also did not have gluten free beer at the kiosk, only crispin cider.

Now serving Widmer Omission!!! That's worth 5 stars alone. It's the best GF beer on the market!! Didn't try the dogs (or the buns).
Great hotdog. GF bun was average. Wish I could have had garlic fries!
Had the club sandwich, which was good. But very disappointed from the last time I was here. No GF beer anymore! Very limited, sad considering Seattle is a fairly good GF town and that they even have a GF awareness day at the stadium.
The GF buns were hard and crumbly. The hot dog was a typical large Mariner Dog...amazing! Makes me wonder...aren't regular Mariner dogs GF? I would rather order a dog at any stand and bring a good bun with me. Doesn't seem to be serving GF beer anymore, they need to bring that back and another hot ballpark option. And they need to NOT put the GF buns in the same spot on the grill they put the non GF veggie burger buns. Veggie and GF should have different grills, or at least different cooks and split a grill in half. Do veg heads want their veggie burgers made on a grill with meat GF dogs? I think not. And I don't want the same grill master handling my GF and non GF buns.
not as good as the options in philly. used to have gf fish and chips but they got rid of them. nice to have a gf bun but it broke apart and the hotdog was too big and meaty like a sausage. weird. not to mention mariners game are boring as hell. go to philly if u want a real baseball experience
They have GF hot dogs, sandwiches, soups, GF Beer, and snacks . It is a thrill to eat a hot dog IN A BUN at the ballpark. They also have a gluten free awareness night in June at Safeco!
